Nick, you are missing the point here, the fact is, the Millennium board in first stating they were gonna run with a minimum three team input to the nation's cup conveniently change things toward the very thing they decided to go against !!!!!!
If we say to the Russians, (who have more than one team over there), you guys can come in as a single entity, which by the way is the only way you are gonna get the Legion involved as the board knows, then you immediately allow a club team precedent which opens the gates for yourselves, if you choose to ignore the Vikings players, and the Yanks, as they were willing to let Strange come in prior to Dynasty's protestations.
The board had to try and rescue some face in all this, they knew damn well that the Russians had more than one team to choose from but to get the Legion in as a unit would rescue some of that lost face, so they capitulated, allowing the rule to be changed.
And so, the Millennium board in their infinite wisdom, decide they wanna go Nations based and yet allow club teams to potentially represent their country, this is frikkin ludicrous because you might as well just go back to the original proposal of a club team integrated X-ball league with no ambiguous entries !!!!
