Up until now the Millennium has been exemplary and they have put the PSP to shame, that's a fact.

Also - now that the NPPL has put on just one event in the US it's also shown that all the PSP's protestations of trying their best for the last few years have been a pack of lies. The fact that PSP are going to try and match the HB, and may well suceed (which I hope they do - it's only good for the game), begs the question "why now? why have we been getting substandard events for so damm long". It's because PSP have been using smoke and mirrors for too long and they have just had to step up to the plate. As Headrock said to me about HB "Accountability is just about to enter PSP's language"

As for Millennium, it's still my "series of choice" but the DYE shirts fiasco (amongst these other things like the handling of EuroX) I'm starting to question things, but I'll still support them until I see what comes out the other end.

The Millennium had focus for the last few years and it seems its rather losing it. I just hope they get back to what they are chuffing good at which is putting on superb events in great locations which are good value for money for the players.

Do you really believe that the board tried hard enough to contact Dynasty, lets face it what are the chances of getting an email back from chuck about Xball ? lol

I mean come on they are the best team in the world and i am sure if they had for example contacted WDP they would (I am sure) of had a speedy response.

With the integration of the NXL and the Millennium at Toulouse and Orlando(I had an Email from Ton Tons earlier today stating they would play Xball in Orlando if they Qualify i. e #1 Europe vs #1 USA) and the borrowing of the scoreboard for the XNations , etc. do you not think Richmond, Gardeners, etc. wont have a say in who plays?
After all Strange are the politically correct team for Xball are the not?

One things for sure with Dynasty playing its going to get people watching and could possible make Europe something special!!! I just hope they don't do another U turn on us.

So many questions I just don't know what to expect in Portugal do you?

Read what I wrote and read what Nick wrote. We had to have the teams ready before I went to Huntington and we hadnt got a answer from Dynasty. Now we have and they will have the rights to pick the team!!!!

Thanks Nick for trying to clear things up, but some people just want to talk **** nomatter what the facts are...

Mag, so let me get this right, you are saying that the Millennium board were going to allow Strange in as a complete team, bypassing the normal rules that were initially applied that dictated they chose their Nation’s roster from more than team ?

And now you are saying that, the US nation's Cup team is going to be selected by Alex (Dynasty) ?

Because if you are, I think you might do yourself a favour and call Paul Alders of Strange and let him know of the board's turn around !!!!
Now that should be a fun phone call, I suggest you let one of the 'others' do that for you mate !!

Now Magued, don't you think this would have all been that much easier to cope with if you guys had gone with the initial proposal ?

This just gets worse and worse and the board just look sillier and sillier by the minute !!
Oh and by the way, if you are also allowing the Ugly Ducks in as a whole team and not represenative of more than one club team, as well as making provision for the Russians where they do have more than one national club team (Bears etc) then I would like that same courteousy extended to the rest of the nations. I mean if you can do it for the Yanks, Russkies and Danes, what about us Brits, French, Germans and so on, are you saying it's one rule for them and another for us.

Mag, nobody is disputing you are allowing the highest ranked captain to choose the teams, leastwise I am not but I want you to explain to me why the board initially imposed upon the European teams the mandate of choosing from more than one team but when Strange come knocking on the door, they were originally allowed to field all the players from one team, Strange !!!!!!
Now I can understand Denmark being extended that same consideration AFTER you have modified the rule for Strange but what about the Russians?
They have more than one team over there as you well know !!

Actuelly we never had that rule. I think that Karjlin coopied the rules that Pedro have used for his Nations cup in Portugal after the Millennium meeting on the internet. When I saw that I went out and said that it was wrong. heres a quote from my post a 1 day after the meeting.

"The proposal was this. Instead of having Joy Division vs TonTon we would have Sweden vs France. As the captain of Sweden I could choose anyone of the Swedes playing the event.
I could take the entire Joy Team or mix it up as I have done on previous Nations cup with players from all Swedish teams attending the event.
This would give all the Swedish players a chance to play x-ball and hopefully they would consider it a honour to play in The yellow and blue jersey."

That's not right Mag as I spoke to Niall the day after you guys had decided to go with nation’s Cup and he told me outright, the National teams were going to be selected from at least three club teams !!!!!!!!!!!!

And I wonder if the Danish team will have any of the Vikings playing for them as I believe that the Vikings will be playing every Millennium event.

Mag, me and you both know, you are having to try and shore up an untenable position created by your fellow members of the group, the best thing for you to do is to back off and let them come in with the defence, not you.
I have always thought you were one of the more sensible members of that group and you have proved to me at least, you try to do the right thing and you do not allow self-interest to cloud your decisions.
Why are you taking all this sh#t when you are not the one who is at primary fault ?
