Dynasty Nations cup

As the highest ranking US team in the Millennium series Dynasty will have the right top pick the team. I think the entire confusion is that Laruent couldnt get a answer from Chuck if Dynasty wanted to participate or not. I talked to Chuck in HB and the kids in San Diego and they seem to be all for it. Then its settled.
I would hope that they Mix there team with whatever other US teams are there.

Its a bit funny to see that a team like Dynasty isnt scared of "risking injuries" etc.. but others are really concerned about that point. LOL

ABOUT picking players. THE CAPTAIN OF THE HIHGEST RANKING TEAM CAN PICK AS MANY AS HE WANT FROM ANY TEAM!!!
I hope this is now totally clear. And that goes for all nations teams.

I myself know that I will not see the fame and fortune of paintball that some of the guys on my team will. The shadow of time draws near for me. I hope that I can hold on to it for a couple more years. But to see in Oliver's eyes and understand that this kid and others on this team were born to take paintball to the masses. They have the personalities and attitudes of true profressional athletes and all they want to do is to play the sport that they truly love. Oliver is absolutly going crazy that he is not going to Mardi Gras. He understands the importance of staying with the teams direction, but just wants to play the sport he so loves. I just want to let them try Pete. Dynasty know our direction this year and we are committed to NPPL super 7's and Millennium's. We believe in the format, However we would like to play in the PSP events this year along with the nations team if possible. We want to take that step to true professionals in the sport.

Mag, u gotta be kiddin me, the frikkin Millennium couldn't make anything clear if their lives depended on it, they been making **** decisions for **** reasons and then changing their frikkin mind.

The Millennium board's decisions, directions and actions are a laughing stock, the board couldn't make an omelette let alone a coherent decision, coz once again, too many hats are being worn and self interest flourishes in that environment as you know, looking at the Americans over the years.

From the stooopid 'no look' rule via the pro team mandatory reffing fiasco and now to this X-Ball disaster, the Millennium board have distinguished themselves in nothing but incompetence and self interest and u know wot I am talking about !!!!!!!!!

Pete
PS. your guys reffing in HB was some of the best I have seen !

And u think that by playing in our X-Ball circus it's gonna further that aim ?
Rodders, U have no idea mate !!!

These guys have chaged the rules and their minds that many times that I could envisage u guys playing by one set of rules when you start and finishing the game with another...... compliments of the Millennium board !!!

Pete,
I am not saying that playing in this Nation series is going to make us anymore true professional that playing Horse shoes, However I do not want anyone saying that we didn't try our hand in every format available. Another reason is to play with other players that we have not had the opportunity to play with on a regular basis. I would love to pratice with the like of Strange, but it would put a strain on the budget we have. I know that it seems that we are going to a lot of events this year but the money we get is stretched as far as possible right now. If we had unlimited resources we would be in Florida praticing Strange every weekend. You only get better playing against tuffer opponents.

Rodders, and I know none of this is your fault m8 but its pretty rich the Millennium Board bending over backwards to accomodate u American guys with rule changes here, there and everywhere allowing u to use this format just so's you can 'play against' Strange (for betterment reasons) and at the same time shafting us Euro teams up the ass and wouldn't do a damn thing for our own teams when it came to X-Ball

Maybe the great Millennium isn't all that great after all.

Seems like some of the mud you guys have been slinging at the US promoters is sticking to your own fences now.

To hear it told from European lips, the PSP had a monopoly on greedy, self serving, uncaring promotions. Stones and glass houses come to mind.

I know well what the Strange guys will do if you screw them over after telling them thei team is in your X-Ball events, and then you decide to "change your decision" based on, based on.... Exactly what is it based on?

Anyone remember the arse raping Paul Alders set out to put on PSP because of the prizes Strange won as an Am-B team at World Cup? That's peanuts in comparison to the money you just cost his team if you have indeed decided to not let them into your X-Ball as a team. They structured their entire year of sponsorship around the fact that they would be playing Nations Cup X-Ball in Millennium events.

Seems most of Europe is looking at X-Ball as a way to begin to stand on it's own and face the Americans in the eye, while the decision makers don't have enough faith that the Euro teams will make it worth while, so they bow down to the Americans once again.

What a tangled web you weave. Indeed. Indeed.

ps - Rodney - I hear what you are saying and I agree with your opinion. Dynasty deserves the spot. But the little bit about not being political is a bit farfetched. Calling you non political is like calling Robbo modest, or calling Bill Cookston insightful - it just ain't right no matter how you look at it.

Willie,
Most ballers on the outside would probably characterize Paul's effort at organizing the great mass of unrepresented teams slightly differently. ;) Tho it is perhaps instructive to see how it was viewed from the inside. :)

As I said since tha strange thing was announced

It made the whole Nations Cup thing more of a farce and was unfair on all the other teams, American and European. That said, it's patently not Strange's fault and all the press announcements, sponsor deals and arrangements those guys have made will now be jeopardised.

This needs some official clarification, along with all tha other issues that are being raised, right now, from the board - cos time is marching on.
