If the camera man is an idiot and doing what he apperently did to the finns, first thing to do is scream at the dumbass to f*ck off! Second is to complain like a bitch afterwards to the ultimate.

But never shoot at the cameras. If players start doing stuff like that the organisers wont bother to bring in pro camera equipment to make quality films and media clip.
have you ever had a descision or result changed after a game? answer probably NOT!

if we had made the finals, that camera could have cost us 2000Euros, would you have paid that to us for damaging our tournament? answer NOT A CHANCE!

therefore i feel the responsibility is with the professional camera crews and also the event organiser! these parameters should be set before the games start! not after you have just lost 1st or 2nd place. i would have done a hopper full if it meant my snake player could have got down and took key players out! then you could have argued all you like cos we would have been playing for 1st and 2nd!!:D

That friggin' camera gave me away last year in the snake on the Raven field. I was trying to crawl forward but the twat put it right in front of me and I couldn't move. Meanwhile, my back guy got shot out and with no cover on the line, I missed my opportunity to make it around to the next leg. We lost that tape, and they rushed us.

As for the twizzot in da hizzouse workin' the mic - I'll bet there were some REALLY confused spectators. I wasn't sure if Vanilla Ice thought we were in France, or South Central LA.

I don't think they were too bothered by the cost of the camera anyway! It was the cameraman that put himself that close to a player - He MUST have a small idea that he is gonna get shot!

Screaming at his "dumb ass" to go away is too late.. the hidden player is spotted.. the damage is done.

Trying to prove a player deliberatley shot at the camera and then banning him is too late... the camera is full of paint... the damage is done.

In another post up here Chris LaSoya apparently tags an RL player a number of times in the head at what might as well be point blank range after being shot out and nothing is done. Do you think anyone is going to give two hoots if a camera get's hit because the cameraman doesn't know how NOT to influence the game?

While were at it I'm surprised that, given conversations on these boards in the past about surgically implanted mikes and biased judges, someone hasn't accused the cameraman of deliberately giving the snakemans position away!

Film crews have to balance their need for good footage against the players need to be able to play the game. While that may be difficult it boils down to one thing; if anything the camerman does gives either side any advantage then he/she shouldn't be there.

especially when the marshalls on that field were soooo good, they did not give away anything to the opposition, they were top notch, and the camera men were utter muppetts!

Yeah! Two of the marshalls were watching an empty bunker and that foxed the player who then tried to mug the person who wasn't there!!
Anyway, the snake thing wasn't the cameraman's fault, it was the dude who was pushing him. He should have been bonus balled in the butt!
And you Storm players are well funny to listen to when you commentate on a game! You were sitting behind us in the stands - is your favourite 'in' word "Poon"?!! :D :D

Ok, I'll fess up on that one. If you're talking about the New Russians v. Crossfire game in finals, it was me. I shot two guys out of the far brick on the tape side, then shot out the guy in the back center standup. I thought I saw the brick move, and I looked at the marshalls and they were looking at it like a player was there. I wasn't sure, so I came around and.....totally mugged the hell out of the grass on the other side. And thanks for the nice round of applause. :p

It being finals, and Crossfire being a good team, there was no way I was leaving it to chance. Probably looked pretty stupid, but that's life.

They did a great job marshalling though.
