We will not be competing at any level similar to the US in X ball for 15 years never mind 15 months Americans are consistent, consitantly what you may say and the answer is consistantly better Play PRO for 3 years around the world then go play for X ball coz you will not reach that high from any other league without a base

It's got a LOT to do with everyone else if they are being banded as the English X-ball team or if they are playing as 'Team England'.

If they are just being formed as a new team to go play, then you are right it has nothing to do with anyone else.

I think those are two very different things.

If it's just Pete's new team, then I wish them luck but aren't too worried about their results.

If they are Team England, I wish them luck, will fly around the World to support them and will seriously care about how they place. In this case they will be on a different pedestal and one that all of England's ballers will care about.

Half the Pro teams in the States would not be where they are if they did not win some tournaments in the year
Sponsors would like there teams to place 1, 2 , 3 in every event they get more recognition, coming 1st once is better than 3, 12, 8, 3, 4

Dont get me wrong again, I think the Russians will get the closest out of all the pretenders, but they do love to bottle it in the finals, when sometimes they would be my favourites by right from tourny play leading up to the final 4

How long without a win before you cease to be 'top'? Are Avalanche still a top team? Rage hasn't won an event in years, what about them? Bob's Ironmen have never won an NPPL - top team?
