not really an injury but whenever i do any sport my shins ache for about 4 days, this became unbearable when i was playing rugby 4/5 times a week - and had to take the second half of the season off.

I got told it could be shin splints due to my calf muscle growing rapidly or something, but im not sure that every time i do any type of exercise other than walking my shins should hurt that much - any one got any advice

my right ankle always seems to play up now and again broke it 3 years ago now. when i say broke i mean it got smashed into like 12 peices at a hockey game the puck it me clean in the inside of my ankle (with skates on) god knows what whould of happened it had been my ****y old skates i bined like 2 days before.

but any who i broke it badly had pins and screws and crap in it to fix it never been the same since even starts to cause me pain while driving on motorways for more than 10 mins.

also my knees as both of them are fused from 3 peices apparently (went for a scan ) rather that the one peice like normal people so they ache

also the blood clot on my right leg tends to cause pain but meh

Hi Beaker - nice to know at least one person has missed me :)

One of the (many) reasons I've not been about has been a complication to my old leg injury - actually nothing that treatment could have done anything about so maybe not as relevant to this thread as it might have been. But having had the ball of my foot sliced open in an op a couple of months ago, I'm hoping to be able to last a few hours on my feet now & come hang out at a few tournaments, the plan is a day at CC next month.
Well, sure if you can make it down to CC you'll see a lot of familiar faces, good to see you back on here too :)

Been quite lucky I suppose, only bone I've broken is little toe from running through a door but missing the "door" bit, and badly sprained an ankle a while ago, but that's much better.
Sometimes my knees play up for some unexplicable reason, but only when I ref or play (when i go running, it's fine), GP was really rubbish, couldn't explain it and just told me to take ibuprophen whenever it hurts.

yeah, i had to insist on being referred to a physiotherapist for my neck, but the waiting list was about a month. Next injury i went to a private physio instead :(
