Always an argument, your good mate, I dont think anybody has yet but soon will have a patent on Optical fibre communication.

God so many secrets given out, Am I not al knowing lol, Maybe change my name to GAME GURU.

WE fit an optical cable adaptor to a marker you know like those on dvd etc for those not knowing. Then it communicates directly with the main brain of your baby honey.

A governing body has a inspection directly with manufacturers and gives them a seal of approval on thier software that a certain code does what it says it does.

WE then look for that capping mode, either inputted by a tent ref at the comp, or by ourselves.

The idea of entering a competition then going getting your marker checked then a program entered into your marker will make it easier for your less educated of guntechs, and they can just play knowing they have passed the check tent.

We regulate this by a governing inspection lobby going to the factory and keeping thier secrets safe.
You see an arguement I see disscusion ;)

But manufacturers have their own cheat software, am sure you can the problems.....

JUST ON LIGHTER NOTE WITH THE VEIWINGS ON THIS DOES IT GO HARD BACK?

DO WE GET TO SIGN COPIES?

But it is there in black and white if we try hard enough, but like all good things unless we try at it we never will make it happen.

I mean there are kids out there always beating new programs and hacking them, why not have a guntech new kid on the block wanting to make a name for himself overnight and hack cheating boards for competitions.

I think you've been watching too many hollywood movies mate.

How do you hack something that you have no physical connection to ?

Its not possible...

The very idea of a 'hacking program' to hack embedded software is laughable.

Round and round and round we go.....

So lets say my gun has a factory fitted cheat mode* It's rolled out in every single marker stock from the factory but because to activate it I have to have certain perameters set and then input a specific user sequence it's never going to get discovered by joe public, what then?

You're going to ask the manufacturer of said board what does this do? they'll say semi auto only, and look there, 100100001 that's the rof cap.

*MY GUN DOES NOT HAVE A FACTORY FITTED CHEAT MODE

Please read the part on optical communication, yes the movies thing is funny, its my way of saying I dont know it all.

If I had all the answers I would be a friggin rich million pound paintball player.

I have some ideas, and a little knowledge, thats all.

ANYWAY back to The PA lol

Question.
Are you kicking up as much of a stink at other leagues implementing 'semi auto' only?
If not may I ask why?
My mate doesn't play the PA but does attend a number of other leagues, which for pretty much every game he plays he uses his ramping software on. No-one has caught him so far.....
What are the other leagues doing with regard to the war on illegal ramping/cheats????

OH my god, now you have done it, admitting that stuff mate.

You said that lol.

And why does he do that because he is crap on the trigger, let me know who it is lol, come on tell me.

Where is his skill if he has to cheat? And you know him,

Don't do it at the PA you will be an assisting a cheat in the court of PA law

Are you brave enough to tell us?

Mad Dog,

You are providing ideas that there is not currently a way of implementing, some of them are nice ideas but not very workable..

I think allowing ramping is the only way to regulate the guns and to prevent the 'cheat modes' being used.

There will be more things availible to check the rate of fire from the next leg so it will be more enforcable.

I like the PA so they have moved venues, so what I don't care, it's their event they can do what they like. There are no seats for spectators yet... They have said this will be done when the new set-up is complete across the road.. having the set up for just a few events does not make sense.

I think it would have been possible to evade the chrono guy, maybe this is somethinf that needs looking into, someone said only getting an armband once you had chrono'd, which seems like a sensible and workable idea.
