O.K. kids lets all put our toys back in our prams!
As far as I can see we all like pgi but some of us want some u.k. coverage too,lets wait and see what pbuk is like cos as I said to Robbo my guess is that most people will want to read both.
PBUK is never going to be an international magazine because it is aimed at the U.K. domestic scene so very few (if any) people in France,Sweden,U.S.A.,Russia,Germany etc are going to care about what happened in a small league over here.
Admittedly the U.K. scene is small compared to the U.S. but somebody has to start the ball rolling and I for one would love to see what teams that I have played against/will play against are up to.
Good luck to PBUK cos there is a lot of work to do and I'm sure it isn't easy to start or maintain a regular magazine. PGI; well I'm still subscribed so keep doing what you do as it obviously works.

Let me start with the fact that I love PGI, and that I also understand PGI obviously has to be more American because America has the biggest collection of top notch teams and the largest potential market. This ain't a bad thing but for a UK based mag I would expect it to have more UK or European input than it has, not instead of the stuff about our friends across the pond but as well as.
On a simalar theme but changing topics slightly:
We were the top UK team in 2002, not only that but in two millennium events were the 2nd highest ranking european team to Russian Legion.
We beat every top European team, American teams and went to a one on one with Russian Legion in the fight for 2nd place in Sweden.
We did hope that PGI being UK based would get right behind us and promote us but unfortunatly I think I could count the number of sentences written about us on the fingers of Homer Simpsons right hand.
Hopefully 2003 will bring us even more success and conciquently even more publicity, come on every one loves a tiger.

If i like i will buy both each month as its only gonna cost like 8 quid for the pair so i cant see the problem
All this moaning is fun O and just think if there was no pgi then this forum probly would not be here so thats 1 up for pgi for a start
O and robbo dont worry you know the score! damn i remember when i was like 15 you where playing with you sterling stp pump for the Preds...Now you is the MAN...

I would like to c more of the uk scene in the magazines, not just the top teams but the lower end as all ive seen is a page on series 2k2. Wot bout all the other tournies. Its all very well reading bout the U.S teams but in fairness how bout some coverage on the little guys.
Batty, dunno who that was mate, but it weren't me, never played with a Sterling in my life and I sure as **** never played for the Preds, u must be getting me confused with Phil Ham maybe.......I'm the much better looking one

I don't think anyone is slagging PGI, and I know that those behind PBUK have no desire to at all. PBUK is going to be something different, covering the specifics of UK paintball at a level of detail PGI couldn't logistically achieve (after all we are smaller than some states), as I said before, PGI is the big picture, PBUK is going to be the stuff that affects us directly. Both cool, both different. Buy both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
