Robbo,as far as I can tell nobody is having a dig at PGI here!Like I said,I will read both magazines.
PGI's t&t,technical and people profiles are all great and I read them now and will continue to do so.
However, a mag that publishes even a couple of reports per issue on domestic events will get my money too as these mean more to me than some (no matter how big) event in California. Why?Well basically because it would feature teams that I am more likely to know or play against.
Both publications are going to cater for different markets and I would bet that most people will read both.
As far as I can tell the more media interest in paintball the better and I think putting down PBUK as a "fanzine" before it has even been published is pretty harsh!
What is obvious here is that there are people who do care about the results of a tourney in Cleethorpes!

Turkey, I have a fairly good idea what it takes, financially and resource wise, to put a magazine together, I also have an idea what it takes to put a fanzine together, now are you telling me Gillie, is financed, experienced and has enough time to collate and to publish a magazine ?????????
My tag of fanzine wasn’t harsh at all !!!

And as for people being interested in what happened in the Cleethorpes five man, ha frikkin ha, now you r insulting my intelligence as only the people who attended such a tourney would have any interest wotsoever.
Ya know, if you guys wanna keep on posting on this subject, at least do us at PGI the courtesy of 'getting real' !!!

Syd, re-read my inital post where I first mentioned it, it reads 'mag / fanzine '.

i really don't hope that me saying where he could find stuff out about the mag started any arguments coz if it did i'm sorry.
as i've said in other posts in other places...both magazines have thier strong and weak points and they are both marketing to two very different 'demographs' (cheers steph ) why bother arguing. Also cube...who is it you really have a problem with this website or the magazine or both?!?!?

OH!! MY GOD !!! And so it goes on main point here is what ever is good for getting paintball main stream then so be it pgi is helping to do that but the uk scene is getting bigger all the time i know 10 years of playing so anything that helps promote the sport then the better wether its the uk scene or the row scene!! This arguement will always happen i know i got cruciffied for bringing up the same questions lets just get the sport mainstream no matter what it takes.

I'm am quite certain that the majority of people know that PGI does an excellent job and whilst even though I would like to see more coverage of the British scene, I am aware that most people want 'Big game' coverage. It is the same with most sports or magazines. You do your research and pitch your stand. And it wouldn't sell and we wouldn't buy it, if it wasn't good. I for one won't cancel my subscription.

As for PBUK, I know that 6e and Gillie will do their utmost to fill the gap in the British market, they have excellent ideas and will give 110% to give us what we want. I for one wish them all the best and look forward to the first edition.

Hey Trinity, thanks for the concern but the issue here is not, well at least as far as I am concerned, anything to do with the new magazine / fanzine or wotever.
But it has everything to do with dicks like Cube who because he buys a copy of the magazine thinks he has an automatic right to tell us what to do and how to do it.
I mean, he is even advising us that we should drop the 'International' tag to our title, the arrogance and ignorance he displays is truly outstanding.
As I said before, good luck to the girls in their venture but Trinity, please try and understand that we do get a bit pissed off with this ignorant minority who tend to seize every opportunity they can to do us down, but I do take your point, as we all do on PGI and P8ntballer, that the vast majority have no, if few problems with what we are trying to do.
