Sports need to flow, they need to create excitement and be hard enough to play to generate skills. Golf has no real excitement, but a massive skill level. To get a low handicap you have to be both good and consistent, golf is hard, beleive me, i play golf.

Golf on TV is great, possibly the only chance you get to sit down for 4 hrs with a six-pack of "wife beater" in complete piece and quiet. Either that or obscure French Hip Hop works a treat.

"Each to their own" was just to say that everyone has their own view, and entitiled to it.

But that still doesn't alter the fact that cricket is not the most exciting sport to play or watch. I have played it at a reasonably high level, and have always found it boring, that's why i now play other sports.

I've come out with "loads of negatives about cricket", because there are no positives.

It is a sport where middle aged men can be seen to be competitive, and to be a reasonable player at the highest level, you don't need to be an athlete.

To sum it up, BORING...........Unless you can convince me otherwise.

Tell me why you find it exciting, surprise me.......!

Frankly I'm disgusted.........cricket is great........... it's got a tea break and everything, and it's really exciting waiting to see if it'll rain and everyone will have to race to get the comfy chair in the bar. You've only got to listen to the commentary.
