your stupid cos you come out with loads of negatives against cricket and then say 'each to their own' when your not following that idea - if you've ever played cricket its actually pretty exciting (not so much out field, but bats is!!!). Just dont like it that everyone picks on it and says its crap when 9times out of ten they've never played it cos the telly made it look 'boring'!!!

Hawk eye, you haven't offended me mate, if i didn't want any negative response, i wouldn't have posted such strong views about the sport.
"Each to their own" was just to say that everyone has their own view, and entitiled to it.
But that still doesn't alter the fact that cricket is not the most exciting sport to play or watch. I have played it at a reasonably high level, and have always found it boring, that's why i now play other sports.
I've come out with "loads of negatives about cricket", because there are no positives.
It is a sport where middle aged men can be seen to be competitive, and to be a reasonable player at the highest level, you don't need to be an athlete.
To sum it up, BORING...........Unless you can convince me otherwise.
Tell me why you find it exciting, surprise me.......!

what about curling?its boring! i personally think F1 is boring to watch, same is tennis(but tennis is exciting to play, as well as i bet its mad exciting to drive a racecar) im not excited by basketball as well. golf has to be the most boring affair to watch on tv ever, right after knitting competitions. theres so much boring sport on tv, why cant they put something like paintball in the right light and make up a paintball-channel, there must be hundreds of thousands of "all-day-all-night viewers" around the world
