So it wouid seem that it's ok for you to endorse the majority of your team being made up of guests in Vegas but not what I am doing.
Now I am taking two Nexus players over, both of whom will play, isn't that what you had playing in Vegas?

Warren, if you are gonna get involved in this, at least try and make a valid point and think about what you are writing before you post, it makes it easier for me to answer and much less embarrassing for you.

Ant, no problem mate !
Pete,

Firstly i think you need to read the post dude because the only person embarrassing themselves is you. Tigers are on 91 points, that score is from 2 millenniums (which you say are easier to gain points in) & Vegas. Now if thats the case Nexus should have lots of points because you have played 3 Millenniums the same 2 we played & Malaga. You also have the added advantage that you have 6 scores to choose from instead of are 3. In fact if you total your score from the same 3 events we have played you would be on 42 points.;)

As for Vegas, we had 3 players & 4 guests, they were all Am players & from different teams. Anyone that has seen us play 7 man this season would agree we would of done much better in Vegas with are full squad. You will have the russkies racking up points for you & 7 scores to choose from & you say we got it easy cos we played 2 Mill & a few AM players in Vegas? Man sometimes you are unbelievable:confused:

You are on the brink matey, as are nexus, and everyone from us down, including us. You guys have 91 points, and need more than 13 points from SD to be safe. With all the 33 teams there even that is going to mean finishing no lower than 17-19th place i would guess. Anythink less than that an dit depends how other teams do. I hope that you guys make it in, as i hope Nexus make it in, but it aint gonna be easy for any of us.

Even with the Legion playing for Nexus its still gonna be tough for them. Say they qualify for the sunday club and have a group or Infamous, Dynasty, and Avalanche its gonna be tough for them to win all 3. They could finish anywhere between 1st and 16th all depending on the group they get. Which goes for every team there. The Xball training the Legion have done will be worthless as the only similarity between 7 man and Xball is that you have people on field shooting their guns. Moving/playing a bunker/communicating is a wholly different, yet monumentally fundamental to 7man.

The main problem that the legion had was that they were not great freestylers like teams like Lanche, Dynasty etc... The coaching and set play element of Xball combined with superb off the break shooting has resulted in some superb results. Will they be able to replicate that in a 7man environment again? They may be world class shooters and runners, but will their thinking game be as good as the likes of infamous and Dynasty?

I predict that we will see some of the big hitters finish in very low positions purely because of the draw that they get for the sunday club groups.

The likes of Infamous, Strange, Lanche, XSV, Arsenal, Entourage, N Dogs, Ironmen, Bob Longs Ironmen, The Men, Famous are all in the mix and only one team can win. There are gonna be some big names who finish low! What are the odds on Bob's Ironmen team finishing too low to secure a place next year? They have 61 points at the moment, its gonna be tough to get the 45 points that they need to play for sure next year without worrying how other teams do in order to get a place if they dont perform too well

Phew, for a minute there I thought you were gonna talk some sense, I'm glad you didn't disappoint.
You were originally bemoaning the principle that I was using guests, when I pointed out that this might be slightly hypocritical, your last post then changed tack and went on to relative scores from both teams.
Now what point do you want to make here?

Milleniums are easier to score in, that is undeniable, my feeder team came just one place behind you in Toulouse, does that not tell you anything?
Now I got absolutely no problem in acknowedging you guys have performed better than us this year, no problem whatsoever, so I fail to see what point you are endeavouring to make because I have never questioned the relative performances.
It was you who originally questioned the principle of ringers but then changed it in your last post.
And Warren, believe me, I ain't embarrassed !

Sam, you are 100% right, it ain't gonna be easy for any of us and even now the draw can be the prime determinant in who qualifies and who doesn't.
The new entrants such as Strange, Bobby's second team etc will have no seed points and therefore any team can end up with them mofo's in their group when others have got relative nobodies, it's gonna be a frikkin lottery.
Not the best scenario for faint hearts or bad nerves :)

Am going to bed, Warren, take a chill pill.

Oh Come on Ant, u didn't think I was gonna let that slide did ya?

After all, u had Vegas with four, I got San Diego with 5, you gonna bust my balls over one player?
We both used ringers for one event and it's academic what the reasons were or are.
Let those without sin cast.....
Peace

:p :p Yeah ok, a little dig i know, couldnt help myself :D

Anyway this whole thing is getting blown out of proportion,
Like i think sam said in an earlier post, in how ever many months time no one will give a **** how anybody got in the top 17 only the fact that they are there, and i think any team playing in the league wont care how they got there only the fact thet they are there, living it.

Pete,

You got me mixed up with someone else duder cos the only thing i disagree with is Ant saying Tigers would do the same thing. I have never bemoaned the principle that you were using guests (any guests) Its not something that surprises me, because like i said before its the bigger picture that counts at the end of the day, but that doesnt mean its something everyone would get involved in.

Lets just hope we ALL get in & leave it at that.

Dont sweat over it Woz, when we make it in we will know that we made it in on our own merrit.

Ant,

If the team had listened to me at the start of the season when i had us booked in to HB we wouldn't be in this position, it seems funny to me that some players think we will just make it like someone is gonna drop it in are laps or something. We ARE on the brink & i dont even wanna think about the consequences of not qualifying:mad:
