As to the squabble over who paid for what and what it means in the great scope of PBall on TV it's all good, kids. Some peeps got agendas, some got ill-informed opinions, some are curious, some are anarachists and trouble-makers, etc. Nothing amiss with setting the record straight but at the same time it's not quite earth shaking news if somebody accepts some measure of inaccurate jabber as the truth.
As it stands now pretty much all Pball on Tv is supported and paid for directly or indirectly by Pball. If that, in large measure, also proves to be true of the ESPN2/NXL programs it's not really important. What matters is what comes next. What ITN left out of the 68 Cal report was the financial and business tie-in with DC who also has some stake in the proceedings. Will it matter? Who knows.
In the meantime, stay tuned--same bat time, same bat channel. (And no, I didn't need to watch TVLand for my knowledge of ancient television trivia.)

I asked a question based on a news story I read on a website and asked people for thier opinions on it.
I did not state my own opinion, nor did I say anything that would suggest bias. It was purely speculation and conjecture.
Your overly aggressive defence of the PSP actually suggests far more bias than my comparively innocent post. Your semi-scathing and half-personal attack on me for bringing peoples attention to an article on 68 Caliber is comical and would suggest an anger born out of severe frustration. Are things really that desperate for you Bwillie?
As for my general information, it is second to none I assure you. I am very careful not to state anything which could be discredited or found to be untrue. Those on here that know my identity would vouch for me on that one. I cannot and have not vouched for the information on 68caliber.

Of course that doesn't stop me from posting a few silly posts, but unless you are some kind of 'silly-post-policeman' I really don't think I need to answer to you.

If that's true then why were you so off about this? And your slamming of PSP/NXL is so transparently biased and skewed. I also recall recently you accusing me of letting a team go unpunished for illegal guns and that was discredited and found to be untrue.

As long as you slam good people in this business from an obvious slant while hiding behind a disguise expect to be shown for what you're doing.

Y'all are free to express whatever wrong-headed and moronic opinions you want to regardless of who it might offend but let's keep it to paintball and not digress into purely personal attacks. Steve, If by biased and skewed you mean that I have an opinion then you are right. If you mean I post things I know to be untrue or questionable then you are wrong.
I could post a lot more. I could post some very damaging information about the PSP. I choose not to as I consider that an abuse of the information that drops on my lap.
Is it my fault that there are constant reasons to criticise the PSP and X-ball? Am I to blame for what someone puts on thier website if I draw attention to it? Ever heard of the phrase 'don't shoot the messenger?'

Now if the NPPL was to run a terrible event, or be unfair to teams, or have accusations of biased leveled against them, or anything like that, I would prolly have something to say about that. Fact is they haven't (not this year anyway) so I have not had that opportunity.

And Steve, climb down pal, oversensitivity is not a good quality in a ref. Everyone gets criticised from time to time. You and I are no exception.

IF you are who I think you are I've enjoyed the contact I've had with you and I think you've treated me well. (Again IF) You're witty, fun at a party, good looking and seem to have some bandwidth. And your party loyalty is admirable.

So IF you're who I think we just have to understand a couple of things if you're interested in mutual respect.

Of course I tow the partly line whether it be for Millennium or X Ball because those are the hats I wear. But when I wax enthusiastic about X Ball I don't have to fake it. Ask any team who has played it.

So really the main problem I have with Intheno is him on occasion trampling on people's toes, possibly their careers and their integrity while hiding behind anonymity. Sure, we work in the open and should certainly be scrutinized and criticized but by people who are out of the closet, not hidden in an ivory tower.

I will not disclose my identity. There are others on this forum who do the same. I am sorry you have such a problem with it. If I was to reveal myself I would not be able to post here, its that simple.

I like trampling on peoples toes a bit. I do not trample on peoples careers or integrity though. If I have done that to you or anyone else then I apologise. No, I don't. Instead of posting nasty little comments about you I put over my own opinion, in fact I often give you credit (which I believe you deserve) for the good job I know you do.
