Wasn't dissing the teams, Wad, but the field--as Manike mentions in post above--forced the teams into limited patterns. For those who have on occasion claimed Xball was the same break over and over and consequently not much fun to watch that is essentially what the divisional field delivered. (Even so, a close contest is always more interesting.) Not the teams fault--they planned in accordance with what was available, is all.Originally posted by Wadidiz
Beg to differ Señor Loco. Although I couldn't really "watch" the last two pro Div X Ball games I felt they were very dynamic and entertaining, especially the RL v Infamous game. Almost as much so as the last Strange v Assassins game which I managed to watch from the score tower. That was about as good as it gets IMO.
I was not enamored of the NXL fields either but then I'm notoriously difficult to please.
