Good question. I'm not in the media so I don't have an answer but I'm curious about how it relates to other situations.
What is the answer when newspapers release transcripts of phonecalls or letters that they were sent anonymously?
If it's out into the public demain such that other people, Intheno, have been able to read it, then what's the difference?
Obviously he wasn't sent it originally. Someone sent it on to him, why can't he send it on to others by posting it on the net?
Do you ever forward on e-mails? Why do you do that? Do you always ask for permission from the person that sent you the e-mail originally?
Someone on that original list of recipients thought it was ok to send it on to someone who wasn't...
