You have no concerns with any markers if they have suffered oil pollution normal maintenance will sort it out.
Some guns (IE Automag) recommend you put a couple of drops of oil in the asa at the start of the day.
Please don't make this into something it is not, they have behaved first class.

I would suggest you guys look at the event forum on the nspl site and draw conclusions from the posts from people who were in fact present.

I and nobody else especially Syd I imagine is happy that this happened but since it has we can only judge on what is being done at this point, and that is he is trying to get things sorted.
If it transpires that something was noticed half way through the day and nothing done... well thats a different issue.
Damages guns!
Some types of oil may damage in the long term some of the seals, but that is the limit I am sure, unless oil damages the metal in SP guns!
It should not have happened, it did. from that point on what would you want them to do!
I am not defending what happened, I am supporting what they are doing since it has.
If they should have stopped the event at dinner time is a completely different matter.

I'm on the fence slightly on this. I personally used 4 markers and 2 air systems at this event.
I was not made awaire at this event that there were "possible" contaminents in the system as such, I would have still played but I would have only used 1 marker and 1 air system.
I will be taking them all apart tonight(markers) to see the internals and if any contaminents are visible.
I am pleased that the offer after the event, of checking/cleaning of the tanks has been offered, the main thing is to ensure the level of saftey that we come to expect.
Its good that syd and the site has offered this,the financial obligation that this has caused must be quite high to them.

OH yer i was field ULTIMATE at NSPL on the day and as guns get chronograph, me and 1 other ref do a visual cheque of players ,
If i sad it once once I said it 60 TIMES, where's your nipple cover or put your nipple cover on.
