looks like a hometown call from where i'm standing, no disrespect to the refs but an overshooting penalty in those circumstances is unbelievable imo.
unlucky to Joy but they have proved that they are at the top both sides of the pond whether they took first or second.
I don't mind all the pointless debate about how the call shoulda/coulda/woulda gone, all based on still pictures, a blurry internet video and a somewhat specious understanding of the rules, but the bias part I have to call bull**** on. The referees on that field didn't care who won or lost. There was no favoritism and no "hometown call".
both Joy and Dynasty are talented, successfull teams. Both of them will do anything to win. To say that the only reason one of them lost is due to referee bias is, in this case, wrong.
If the call had gone Joy's way, everyone would be saying they got the call because of the WDP/PP connection. That would also be complete bull****
