soak it up mate. Its feckin ****e how this sport operates. At every event, from the NPPL to the MILLENIUM to the PSP to the freakin series 2003, theres always, somewhere, bias of some kind or another shown to certain teams. And im sure that weve ALL experienced it, both detrimentaly and positively. Ive played games where we've been shown favouritism, and I've played games where we were obviously playing more than 7 men if you know what i mean. There have been times I've seen my team not make the cut (see Robbos here predicament) on a "technicality" and times when Ive been on a team that is just plain better treated by organisers and marshalls and officials.
Everytime, someone looses out, and it'll never change until we have some kind of structured hierarchy within the sport, a proper framework and good NON PROFIT MAKING organisations watching over us all, i.e a governing body.

What has happened to Nexus sucks bigtime, but is great as an example of how much this kinda thing happens, it just doesnt always happen to a team in the spotlight like Robbos.

Bad luck big guy, better luck next time mate.
And first place next time would be the best revenge possible, dont get bitter.

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
To Pete and all of Nexus

It sucks big time you got screwed simple as that. But jesus you have shown the world that a team from the UK can go over to the USA and mix it with th big boys. You beat some good teams along the way and you got beaten by some good teams. I am sure everyone here is proud of what you have done. I know I am and I am also proud to say your all my friends!

So well done lads good on ya. Next time you show them what you can really do.

To Nexus

Guys

Just back from my hols in Cuba - and I am gutted for the team - I'm sitting here and cant believe it.

But then these things have happened so many times - but the mistake was not ours (Roland - it was another games scores not Nexus').

Lets go to Toulouse and make sure we get through!!!

Bad luck guys!

A valuble lesson to learnt by everyone, make sure you check your score and your opponents score carefully before signing!
Roland, it wasn't our scorecard, it was the Rage / Eclipse game scorecard that was at fault and it was within the interests of Rage to ignore the mistake as it got them thru to the Sunday club instead of us, I wonder if they realised

Yes I realise it wasn't your fault.

What I was trying to say was if the other team had checked Rage's score they may have picked up on it before signing.

In this instance it wasn't your score that was wrong but i'm sure many teams have signed for incorrect scores in the past.

The other thing is to understand exactly how the scoring works! I'm sure your guys did but I have been to some tourny's wheresome of the marshalls weren't sure on the scoring never mind the players.

Anyway we are all still very proud of you, well done!

:(

I'm really sorry for Pete and the Guys. This is a sucky way to not make the Sunday club.

But once again you have shown that you should have been there, (by the skin of your teeth a bit guys! it's always tough in the Pro division though on scores), but you definitely should have been there.

And that's still an achievement to be proud of!

Don't get disheartened Pete. It's still very early days for Nexus, and unfortunately **** like this will happen in paintball (and worse sometimes :( just remember what happened to the Preds when they played stateside! )

Just keep at it with the consistency and you will be achieving so much!

Good luck, and there are a lot of people that are proud of you even if you just missed out on the finals.
