Planet Piper away from you freaks!

I just wanted to add that where Pete thought of an injustice, the team players blamed themselves.
The way we all saw it, if one of us had not died sloppy in one of the games we won, we would be through. If we had shot one more Dog, we would have been through.
It is allright to blame someone else for a failing if the result is reliant solely on them, but when you really hold your destiny in your own hands, through your own actions, then in the end the only person you can truely blame is yourself.
The judges may have screwed up, and Rage screwed us, but really we just screwed ourselves more. They all screwed us for just one lousy point, where we screwed ourselves, through our lack of skill, our of 199 points.
That is how the team look at it, and that is the thought that is going to make us stronger, hungrier, and more focused on winning.
It just took Pete a couple of days to realize it
In that one post Jack has shown what true pro's the team are! Well said Woodie!

tell you what after reading the posts by the nexus players (jack) and robbo i for one wouldnt like to be in the next team to play them!......now that they have had time to reflect and learn from this experience i can only see the team using this as a positive thing and it pushing them one step closer to their goal of becomeing a 'lean mean fighting machine'
i also think that the massive support of all the uk players and teams will continue to grow.

long live nexus!

:)

rancid

Mother, is that you?
ok ok, I hear what you're all saying. And I wont mention it again after this.

But, rules is rules, and Nexus did enough to have a pop at the finals. And if this was any other sport, there would be a public outcry. But, if this is what it's like to be British, then so be it.

Now, can I please have a Nexus shirt with Robo on it.

Wise (and sensible) words, even though I get Rancid's point completely, I also agree with your actions here Pete.

Jack made a fantastic post. No need to quote it again, but that is truely the right spirit to have and move forward. It's great to see and hear.

LMAO at people editing Rancid's post... BTW the only people that can edit posts without it showing are Admins and Supermods... so blame Piper ;)

Strange thing is I was also wondering if there were going to be 'Nexus Supporter' T-shirts available? It's very British and patriotic to support teams...

Maybe with Nexus on one side and the age old classic 'Robbo who?' on the other? but maybe that would be detracting from the whole team effort? Not sure. Maybe worth thinking about and it all helps the team funds in the long run...

Maybe we'll have some Nexus supporters shirts ready for Toulouse :D

Great post Jack, this is the way that everyone on the team feels after our Chicago experience - something we have to put right ourselves.

Until Toulouse...............
