Look Rory, looking like a gangster "wapper" in faux Burberry is passé these days. Harris tweed and Plus fours is where it's at.

But come on, if you've got other priorities or options in life, would you really be prepared to put up with the dilly-dallying of the promoters? I must be getting old, but if it's coming down to Toulouse or a Lichtenstein lithograph for the Drawing Room, where's the smart money at?

I do think that whilst the events may well have got better, trading off the dreams and aspirations of the younger players (or those that still believe Paintball will eventually be great), with this "wow here it is" attitude is poor form.

sorry, did you expect something else? It's always been like that, and always will. Just put your BS filters up to max and ride it out.

theres a fine line between being a cynic, and a realist.

And Rory, sorry dude couldnt resist! (but lets face it you did ask for it)

Don't think that I'm trying to sell something. I'm just saying that some people may be surprised by how things shake out in Europe in the near future.

I don't relish another between-seasons roller coaster ride. In fact a lack of clarity about the future of PB in Europe might kill my aspirations to continue what I've been doing.

I'm personally at a crossroads, like many teams, and need to know what the program is for 2005. If I don't find out definitely soon then I'll have to drop working with PB so I can concentrate on making a living for me and my family.

Believe me, a lot of players, teams, vendors, sponsors, officials and promoters would benefit greatly by knowing what's going to happen. But nobody can decide anything alone and in a vacuum.

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
So come on Steve you seem to know, or have an idea of what is happening, at least share it with us all.

Sorry to say but I disagree with Glen on this one, we will have all the events listed about 3 weeks before the first event. Same as last year same as every year!

What a way to treat your customers!

Not only what a way to treat your customers, also what a way to treat yourself. I can't understand why a group of promoters would put such heaps of stress upon themselves by doing things at the last minute.
No wonder many of them have such problems pulling in outside sponsorship. Most big money companies have their advertising and sponsorship budgets figured out for 2005 by now, so when some paintball promoter shows up at their doorstep during the course of 2005 asking for some money for an event he doesn't know the exact date for yet, he will be laughed out the door with a friendly pat on the back and a sheet of stickers for his troubles.

It's ridiculous that we don't know any dates yet. And by reading Steve's post, I feel that even some people within the organisation itself agree with that statement. By the way, this doesn't only apply to the Mil Series, but also to the NPPL and PSP.

Oh, and Andy, I think you mean you agree with Glen, rather than disagree. ;)

Glen, scoot over, I'm driving the golfcart dammit.
