If I remember correctly, the T-shirt displayed a Cannabis leaf. Where I'm from there is hardly any distinction between Cannabis products, and alcoholic products. So to me the t-shirt is on the same level as those shirts saying "beer created this sexy body".

All fine and dandy, but this thread had no place whatsoever in 'tournament'. It just got moved.

Larry, I see what you mean, but I seriously doubt it's that big an issue. TV has not been around because we've been lacking a format that works on the screen. Also, paintball is hard to film anyway, because there is no central focal point (like the ball in baseball). With TV exposure comes greater outside finance. Simple. If the outside companies were really that bothered by the way some characters conducted themselves, there would be no way in hell they would ever sponsor a skateboarding event. I know from experience how some of those cats behave, yet there is plenty of green passed on to big skateboarding events.
The whole 'we don't get sponsored because we're bad boys' discussion is a bit too Disney in my opinion.

I agree with Buddha.

The whole 'Bad-Boy' image that people speak of is a bit of a falisy, as most people who are in this sport (and I think it should be called a sport) are well enough behaved.

X-Ball, although it hasn't come over the pond yet, will be easier for filming, as there is more of a central focus. As it is at the moment, with Sup'air, things can be missed all too easily, and I think that is why TV has stayed away, not because of T-Shirt designs.

The FCUK range of clothes has some obviously riské captions, and yet they are sold on the high street.

Paintball is supposed to be fun. Let's not take that away, or we'll loose the whole spirit of the sport.

Exactly - if you have a problem with that and not the beer T, it's hypocritical IMHO.

And the T-shirt was actually done in an ironic sense to start with - i.e. trying to play ball after a couple of doobies makes as much sense as playing after 6 pints of strong lager...sure some people won't get it, but that goes for a hell of a lot of jokes and comments in PGI generally.

The whole 'drugs are baaad, period' thing is just such a load of crap fed to people by certain Govts, religious groups and other self-interested parties.

And please no-one bring up legality as an issue cos I'll explode...
