YEah...

A flex is good for two things:

Letting the paint break on yur face instead of the mask (the paintball just pushes the mask back until it hits yur face then breaks).

Getting closer to your marker - I've noticed that with hard masks and some gun setups, the "chin" area of te mask has a tendency to hit the gun, the flex alleviates that problem because it bends out of the way.

i pretty much had swollen lips for about an hour :p


i don't see why companies still make masks that use flex

the only time the paint might acually bounce is if someone froze the paintball (and will get an a$$whooping later for freezing it)

by the way.. i did the test by using the following masks..
jt flex 7
vforce conquest
vforce shield
vforce morph

in my opinion, vforce is the best makers of masks at the moment. if players can use a morph lens on a conquest, you would see everyone buying the masks

the conquest is built just like an armor standard. the cushioning is soft foam, the lens is the same size, but the band says z leader
