I'm right in the centre of it too. 2 min walk from Moorgate AND from Liverpool St!!!

We've all been told to stay in our buildings, so the streets are dead at the mo (apparently the safest place to be!). Unlike a coupla hours ago when there was just panic and mayhem. Sirens everywhere and the roads in london city were gridlock in places.

The underground is out of service at the mo and there are no trains or buses coming into London!

Its all just madness..........

Quietened down a lot now tho. Could be a long walk home tonight!

Kinda glad I left London last week :(

Thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by these attrocious incidents.

All tube service has been halted, all london transport bus services halted, and national trains in and out of the capital halted last I heard.

Seems like bikes are the only thing making it around London.

Obviously people advised not to travel unless completely necessary, and if you do check your mode of transport.

Tony's on his way back from the G8, but he plans on returning to the summit this evening.

Well its Definately terrorism as there've been traces of explosive found at one of the sites

7 explosions apparently 6 in train stations, and one double decker bus blown up, packed with people.

Did you hear Blairs speech it was good http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/wire/sns-ap-blair-text,1,6482799.story?coll=sns-ap-world-headlines&ctrack=1&cset=true

"It's important, however, that those engaged in terrorism realize that our determination to defend our values and our way of life is greater than their determination to cause death and destruction to innocent people in a desire to impose extremism on the world.

Whatever they do, it is our determination that they will never succeed in destroying what we hold dear in this country and in other civilized nations throughout the world. "

he's travelling down to London tonight and will return to Gleneagles tomorrow. The G8 talks will continue.

Its creepy, we had the radio on in the common room this morning, we werent really listening, and then it just went silent as they started talking about it

Its odd how all this is happening in London and we've just got to carry on like nothing's happened. really odd, like im sitting messing about on the internet, and somewhre in London people are badly injured and burned and some are dead.

umm yeah, hope everyones ok, youve got our thoughts and prayers
