London attacks - what's going on???

BBC has just reported that arab intel sources have said it is almost certainly the work of al quaida (spelling?)
apparently 2 devices were detonated on buses?
I didnt even know this was happening until i came on here!

Well it wasn't the work of a local play group was it!
I think we can be pretty certain that it was a terrorist attack of somesort, unless the bomb disposal guys are carrying their equipment to work on the trains and busses whislt playing with them...
BBC News 24 have just said as JayC said that there have been reports from their arab intelligence people that Bin Ladin's friends are almost certainly behind it.
Last report from the police said 2 dead from the first bomb at Aldrdige or wherever it was.
The special emergency plans seem to be holding up well though so there is little or no panic... probably due to the lack of americans involved
Best wishes to anyone who knows someone in the area who they can't get hold of!
