in no word of what you said do i disagree BUT apart from personal training having the facilities and coaches to improve your game isnt the easiest thing to come across
I disagree, there are hundreds of gyms in the country. Join up and train your ass off for months and months. Get your overall fitness to a high level then you can start learning to play ball. Can't afford a gym? Go running or cycling then... As for paintball specific stuff, a case or two a week, out in the garden or local field... Snapshoot your guts out, single shot acuracy drills, running with your marker etc. All nominal cost and can for the most part be done on your own

If you're fit enough then it means you can train longer and harder than anyone else and you won't look like the shambles of burnt out wrecks you see towards the end of the day at most UK tournaments (which in all truth are just the the paintball equivalent of Jay's aforementioned loadsabeerpubsoccer leagues...)

The problem is, most UK players don't care enough to train regularly and the majority just wanna turn up one Sunday a month, fill the air with paint, shoot a couple of mugs and have a laugh with friends. All well and good, but calling yourself (said player type) an athlete is a frickin joke

what i meant was proper coaching, snap shooting, drills, laning, set moves, break outs, sweet spotting not just practicing them practicing them properly

Yeah, i missread your comment and since edited the original post (you're too quick).

To be honest, the fundamentals are pretty simple, its being consistant and natural that makes the best. Go to a Nexus/XSV/Dynasty seminar, read PGi pick up the basics, take them home and work on them over and over (and over). Wouldnt take too much to put yourself in the upper percentile of the domestic UK PB scene.
