chicago, just incase you aren't clear, british ones with be made tournament safe (aparently) to prevent the full auto, and 3 shot burst! although the rebound does scare me! 100% ramping pretty much!

I have got to be honest, Loved my old "brick" shocker, and also my 2 new style shockers.
Hate the way S/P operates with the patent issues though.
Like the look of the new ION, and will watch these boards to see how they perform.
Quite like the idea of one for a back up marker.

Shot one yesterday at training. They take an impulse barrel thread so at least you don't need to buy a whole new barrel set. Another nice touch is the raised markings on the body are not cheap plastic as it kind of looks like in the photos but softer expensive plastic like goggle faceplates are made from to aid bouncers.
Anyway I kept looking to find out what was wrong with the marker because it's so cheap. But it shot fast, well and accuratly. I have to say for £200 it's bloody good! The only thing I didn't like was the power switch seemed/looked a bit cheap - but thats it.

Might actually suggest IONS to some friends of mine who are just getting into the scene, what pressure they run at ? same as a shocker?

Chicago (unless i'm very mistaken) is actually from the USA... possibly Chicago So he really wouldn't care if the gats had full-auto/burst etc in the UK
