hmmm

SPARE THE FRIGGIN $5-10 AND DROP YOUR PAINT PRICES, IF FOR NO OTHER REASON JUST AS A FAVOR TO YOUR PUBLIC AND EXAMPLE TO YOUR NEIGHBOR. Or, to look at it another way, to put a sharp hot knife in the neck of your competitor

well they take advantake of this for me exapmple i play at the only feild around! they are only 45 min away(the next town over) and if u want to play u play there cause the next feild clocest to mee is the one thats 1 and 1/2 hours away. they charge $25 for 500 $45 for 1000 and $80 for the case.... rediculous. now as for ritzy paintball clubs, you do realize youd need a $5000 a month club membership and like a $2000 yearly dues fee.

No, no, no! The ritzy paintball clubs wouldn't need to charge more at all, because their atmosphere and quality of place to play would be their competitive edge...no one would want to play anywhere else by comparison and people would want to go to tournaments there and play it if they were passing through. It would even be very possible to have a small lodge there...imagine taking 3 days and staying at the field with meals, beds, showers, etc. You'd be in heaven, wouldn't you? The lodging could easily make a good bit of money, especially for 2 or more non-local teams to stay and scrimmage for a weekend. Why hasn't this been done? No one thought of it or no one who could afford it or has the mindset to do it has, so far at any rate.

Okay, earlier this evening I wanted to have a good laugh, so I went to see the markers on the Brass Eagle website. On their site I stumbled across this bit about the Pursuit parks, and it mentioned that paintball is a $500.000.000 business, with approximately 6.000.000 participants (customers). To me this means that the avarage baller spends less then $100 on paintball per year ($83.33 to be exact). Not very impressive!

83 Bucks! That's nothing in paintball! Some people easily blow that on paint for a day!
Hiya Budda

When i ask the punters at my site (Delta Force, Kent) if they have played before appx 80 per cent say no. So does this mean that only 20 per cent of people who try paintball go on to take it up as a sport? That would make a big difference to the $ or £ per person figures you quoted. If one-timers pay appx £30 ($45) and they account for 80% of these figures then the remaining 20% of serious 'ballers would spend much more. In the past 3 months i have spent appx £500 of gear. I don't have to pay site fees & get paint at cost but even so that would account for another say £100 ($150) I think the figures are wrong somewhere.

Ding ding ding! Correcto, sir. Our survey says --- It eats orings like a biotch and dissolves seals and anything delrin, screws up regulators, and even if it didn't would stick in your barrel and dissolve paintballs partially so they blow up in your barrel and your bolt face. Also it voids the warranty of any serious paintgun and 99% of cheap ones. Aluminum, just so you know, also isn't prone to rusting, nor are most paintgun parts unless subjected to conditions that 0% of owners would put their guns through.

Singer Sewing Machine oil (as recomended by Jon Bonich).

KO I would guess the reason we don't have paintballing lodges with while you wait marker services and drinks waiting for you at the bar between games is because of the huge investment required to build such a site!

There are no similar sites that are a huge success so this kinda thing would not pull in investors very easily
