there are not many series to choose from in the uk. Looking at it now, the PA is the most proffessional series we have in the uk. And this is a sad fact, as it aint that proffessional. sure it has a pik of 4-5 teams or so, but that aint that much. UKball need to have a kik up the arse and get teams that are dedicated to the sport. To train as much as they can, and to play a tournament if it turns up. Not to train for the tournament, but to be constantly training.
Its just like football, i hate to make a connection between these two sports but. For teams to get good, they need to train as much as possible and take league games when they come. its the only way.
I may go as far to say that we may need a new series to be made, with a more proffessional feel to it, but this has been done by the pro series. with just a pik of the crop of the UK in it.
We need to look at things like this, look at America, and see where we are going wrong

Never said it wasn't and don't need convincing at all, as stated in my original post, pro league aside.

Am I right in saying we can't just turn round and say, right we're playing pro league, we have to qualify.
Tricky, re-read your initial question to me and then read my answer, I just answered your question, nothing more.
I didn't assume or ignore anything, I merely answered your question.

Ok, fair point.....so let me rephrase my question to you.

In your opinion, if forced to play a uk series, pro league aside, which series do you think would provide the highest level of competition.
In all honesty, there is little to choose between any of them, the standard of play is dire across the board from what I have seen and from what I have heard...ya pays yer money ya takes yer choice !

Depends what your long term goal is, as discussed in previous posts the effective life span of a top level paintballer is pretty short, If we want to get to that level then its debatable as to whether we can afford three years to reach a stage we are already at?, we need to develop and improve not regress.
Doesn't leave many choices does it?!

Only viable options if there is not a domestic you are happy with that offers the right level of competition is play abroad or join another team who already has access to the best competition in the UK.

Your missing the point slightly, we already play milleniums, just looking for a decent standard uk tourny to keep our eye in, in between legs.

Would probably favour the new UK masters 7 man but just wanted to get peoples opinion and find out if there were any hidden gems we didn't know about.
