I mean, if this comes up in casual conversations... why on earth are you (and others - because obviously it is not just in conversations with you)... accepting it without doing something about it?
Answer that and stay fashionable.:p

I would raise the biggest stink if I was told something like that.... Nick

Nick, I am already the focus of cynical ridicule from most of them and I also realise that although the rules are in place, the technology isn't and so these bastids flourish ....... I hate it, I truly do.....but wtf can I do about it ?
Seriously Nick, what can I do?

Gentle persuasion doesn't work.
Moral indignation doesn't work.
Common sense doesn't work.
The rules - doesn't work.
The industry - 'ha frikkin ha' when a lot of them are complicit under the table.

The depth and extent of all this is unbelievable....well maybe not .. I have come to accept it as I have come to accept my helplessness in trying to put things right...

The average pro paintballer is a cheat, has little moral base, has no dignity, hardly any loyalty...even to himself and to be honest, we have only ourselves to blame in allowing this to happen, and in some cases, we have actively cultivated this cesspit environment.

Out the fcukers - publicly - here or in PGI.

I realise the risks for the magazine, but I think they would back you up.... and so would the vast majority of the sport, that actually hate these types of cheats.

-And - people may think about you what they want, but NOBODY ever questions your honesty - so when you do it, people will believe you!

Newspapers and magazines quote sources without proof all the time dude - so not really a big deal.

Well, that all depends if the industry that pay for ads support cheat modes in guns... I would like to see the company that pulls advertising on those grounds..... and even if you lost a few, subscriptions should increase dramatically, if PGI became the one paintball magazine to not always step around the issues that are controversial ;)

Anyway - I understand the qualms fully - wimps ;):D

Full-auto, capped.

Bio-engineered Robbo Refs/Spectator controllers - probably need ProLab/MetRx event sponsorship for that though.

So - excuse me for wondering.... is the strategy for the magazine to only report on something controversial, when the person or organisation at the root of the controvercy is unable to fight back effectively - i.e. Jerry Braun or Pedro Campos?

Please understand, I am not trying to start a whole big thing here... I am just wondering how you guys decide when a controvercy is worth reporting - and when it is too "dangerous"?

Truthfully, I actually thought PGI was the one magazine in paintball that did not operate at the mercy of industry :)

Also, electing not to report on the issue we are discussing, makes me think you guys believe that most major companies in the industry are involved with it, to a degree where it would be a major embarassment to them if the truth got out?
