Uh, no, because it says you can't have more than one shot per pull.
there lies my point! "prove it please marshall!" oh you cant cos you have not got a robot or any other calibrated instrument to prove the 10 pulls equals 10 shots per second.

Ok, I need to get this right....

All this BPS and MS smeg is confusing the crap outta me!:)

Bottom line:-

Markers must be capped at 15Bps
Bounce will only be tested for by 'bumping' the bottle or hopper NOT by using the trigger.
No 'run-away'(?) triggers.

My main question is that if all the other settings, i.e MROF, Run-Away and Mech Bounce are within guidelines your trigger is free to bounce away like a rabbit on heat?

Curios, and everyone else who is confused, as long as your gun does not bounce mechanically (as stated in the test above,) and as long as it is capped at 15bps, and as long as it does not fire when hit on the bottle, it can ramp as much as you like to 15bps. Set it at 4bps,. 5bps...9bps, whatever you want to get it to ramp up to 15.

Except a gun set to ramp to 15bps when 5bps is pulled can fire at least two shots after the last trigger release, which is tested for and is illegal.

Sod it, I'll just have to make sure all the markers I take with me have both true semi and ramping modes, and use whichever mode the judges seem to be allowing at the time (what's the chance of the judges knowing the rules themselves, anyway?)

Alternatively, where the rules state a way to enforce true semi auto... ;)

Marshall: Your gun is not shooting semi-auto

Player: Prove it

Marshall shoots the gun

Player: That testing method is not in the rules. I refuse getting the penalty.

Yes - marshall fires gun, stops firing, and the gun fires another 2 shots because it is ramping. Gun gets pulled, you get disqualified, everybody lives happily ever after.

Sorry but I still cannot find anywhere in the rules where it states ramping is allowed. Maybe I'm just being stupid.

Andy, if you read this can you clear this up. Is ramping allowed or not.
