Agree totally.Originally posted by Intheno
It is the players that would have to be penalised, as the manufacturers/aftermarket suppliers make the guns/equipment so that it is possible to cheat, not necessary to cheat. We all drive cars capable of 100mph, but we get busted for driving them too fast. We don't question this, because it is common sense.
You cheat, and get caught, you get penalised.
You don't cheat, you don't worry about it
How can players not be blamed? That's not an informed post.
Reseach (if done) tells us that these guns have many modes. It is up to the player to pick the mode that can be used in the event they plan to play. I'm sorry, but it is not always possible to lay the blame at someone elses door. We have to take responsibility for our own actions, just like in the 'real world'
First I have to say that Robbo's comments about this matter in the current (March) issue of PGI are RIGHT ON. I'm glad that I don't feel all alone concerning this vastly important safety question.Originally posted by Selous_scout
Me too. But if i am gonna be pelted from idiots with bounce then i am gonna return the favour. No questions asked. Being the unbalanced guy from the team, i think that nobody is going to like the fact that i am going to make the cheaters life hell.
I like my sight and hearing, so, if somebody wants to put that in jeperdy then i will return the favour, with interest. With this in mind then i think all baller's would play to the set standard. Nobody plays the gray and gets away with it around me, ask Pinki.
Sorry this is just wrong, the debounce settings allow you to tune you marker and trigger so it's easy to hit a high and legal rof but not bounce. If it bounces at 10+bps it'll bounce at 1bps.Originally posted by blastum
You guys probably know these sites but here ya go any ways,www.wickedairsports.com. Was boards and some others,And also www.warpedsportsla.com.These guys produce boards so if you walk the trigger, lets 3-4 times the gun will and can go full auto depending on debounce settings. Also they will hide the fact that while walking the trigger. They will fire 2-3 times
That's just not true, is seriously flawed, and won't solve the problem of cheater boards in the slightest.Originally posted by Steve Morris
I will again state a simple solution to cheater boards (concerning ROF): bring back gravity feed only. Then the maximum effective rate of fire will be around 13 shots per second.
It is self-evident that you wouldn't like a no-force-feed rule. I'm not even sure I would like it but it would cap the rate of fire in a simple-to-control way. Unfortunately that would move us back to the days of VL Revolutions since most Halos, Warpfeeds and eVLution II would be out.Originally posted by manike

Before you even think to implement such a cazy rule, please define 'gravity feed only' for me.
The Halo and Warpfeed were designed to and fit within the previous attempt to define gravity feed by the ASTM.
