I´m sorry to say so but that is just BULL - pardon my french - I don´t have ANY less adrenalin in "my system" when entering the field than my male team mates, none what so ever! Actually I´m one of those shouting the loudest, getting the others all hyped up....... :)

think people have actually gone off the track with this post, the guys trying to get an all girl team together.... any girl reading this will think they are not welcome to play.

i agree that woman muscle structure and strength can be less than mens but are you seriously saying they cant compete?? you try and race against some of the top female atheletes in the world at 100mteres and all you will see is their a$$ in front of you (great i hear you say) eventually with trainin you will beat her but thats with training, and im sure she will train to beat you next time.

if the girls want it enough all you have to do is train and you can compete with the top guys.... fat ladies have beaten top teams this season and will continue too in the future...... at the end of the day it doesnt matter if theres 7 guys or 7 girls at the other end of the field its stilll 7 people with the oppotunity to beat the other team

i say good luck and if you want to compete go and prove you can

I do appologise, but would you read again what I wrote?

I did not say "females have less adrenalin", I said..."any adrenalin in the system has less of an effect in females"

Bit of a difference.

Please Explain??

How does adrenalin have a different affect on females? The release of adrenaline in to anybodys body tiggers the body into a state of readyness. which if you pay attention in biology is called the fight or flight relfex. It is then down to the indiviuals personal expreinece to weather the person fights or runs. In paintballs case weather a player attacks or defends.

The female body, has not had to "Fight or run", on a daily basis, for quite some time now...since quite a while before men, stopped generally needing to "fight or run"...so, the female body, isnt quite as used to doing it, therefore, does it to a lesser extent.

Take two identical cars. One is a daily driver and regularlily nips here and there.
The other, gets used on Sundays, by an Octagenarian to go to church and back.

The octagenarians car, will not react in the same way, when floored as teh daily driver...simply because it is not used to it, and is clogged with crap...that is not too say that female bodies are full of crap (well some are!), but you see my point.

I see ya point mate but what your referring to is the indiviuals personal exprience. I have seen grown men wither in a small ball in a three on one situation, which a girl with the same conditioning may do in the same situation. there is no denying people react differently but that can be changed with training.

And what i am trying to do is not debate weather girls can compete. This is that they will compete with consistant training and experience, Just like fat ladies charms. And i urge if any girls are intrested just drop myelf a pm. The team will be looking to enter the UK masters in January.

short of conducting a neurological test to monitor the brain patterns and electrical signals, how can one prove the theory of adrenaline effects between male and female sexes?

By observing females and males in adrenalin inducing situations..such as, playing paintball..

Women are not as fast, as explosive or as aggressive as men.
These factors are hugely important when playing paintball

Robbo et al.

You can argue with him if you like...but...I cant think of anyone else I would ask, that has more experience of watching people play paintball, while being intelligent enough to compare players on field, within the context.

Or, to please my lerned friend above, who obviously pays a great deal of attention, while he is in the sterile, unreal world of full time education.

There is significant evidence to suggest, that females, in general, are biologically challenged when compared to males of the human race, taking part in the sport of Paintball
