I don't think new shockers are inconsistant or unreliable or that angel flys are much better ;)

I'm the gun tech on the team (me and one other). Up until recently I repaired, serviced and fitted eyes on trixs and know them inside out. They have a reputation for never breaking paint (when the bolt presssure is set right) and I was acutely aware of the reputation early shockers had picked up. So I tested them thoroughly, very thoroughly. Even with some paint that was 100/100 given to us as unusable gash. My halo broke it just firering at the range but it went through the shockers. I think the early markers had teething trouble, for god sake the first one's didn't have vision, but now they're sorted good and proper.

Nick,
I realise the context of your last post, but just to shed some light on the Eblade's ability to shoot brittle paint and Its reliability;
We took delivery of our new E blades on the field walking day of the Max masters. Straight out of the box completly standard we shot 17 cases of paint with 10 breaks in total across the team. The paint was Venom and it was breaking 9 out of 10 from chest height.
Paris open Xball 37 cases shot 15 breaks across the team, paint was Duke and was breaking 8 out of 10 from waist height.
Amsterdam...... same as.
So far to date the anti double ball stuck out on my marker and that's the only time one of our markers has been near a Tech since we got them, now that is a quality product!
Chuck.

i have gased mine up know it seems to working fine:D

Anyways.... he's not supposed to shoot at the coaches..... you should make sure he understands that - unless he wants to spend too much time in the penalty box :p

Good luck with Dave tomorrow ;)

Nick
Now theres a dumb rule, you are allowed to shoot at the oppositions coach but if you do you could be penalised for unsportsmanlike conduct. Why not just say you can't shoot at the coach!!!

But hey - nice bit of promoting there ;)

Nick
Maybe that is y you never notice how much paint yours were breaking?
:D

Nobody move! This is a thread hijack, so get your hands up!
i have a couple of questions about the x-ball/7-man deal. Its pretty apparant that cross traing for both formats can cause weakness in one or both games. So how many teams will continue to play both formats? Once everybody starts to concentrate on a single format, where will the big teams end up? Will one series or the other get left out in the provebial cold? What about the teams that chose to concentrate on the format that suffers, participation wise? Somebodies going to have to draw a line in the sand, but who will do it where. Who will benefit from the specification of training and playing, NPPL or PSP/X-ball?
Also, take a look at the top 5 in the recent NiPPLe and PSP events. Other than the rankings, it's more or less the same teams. Cross trainging doesn't seem to hurt the American teams as badly as the Euros. Anybody have any theories about that?
