Suppose I better come up with a ****ty excuse then!!
We would be playing division two but before our last event in the millenium series (toulouse) we were advised by another teams captain and our sponsors that we should drop down into division three for this event. Thus we are unable to jump up a division back to Div 2 for Campaign.
Say what you want, call us baggers if you want but we havn't made a very big impression in the MPANL this year only just escaping relegation.

Why are we witch hunting these teams, cos they all believe that they are justified in their division of choice !!!!
There is no joy in being a big fish in a small pond..........I think I would rather finish half way up Div 2 than in the top 10 of Div 3 !!!

moan moan moan 1st off we have 2 new players who came out of the woods . then we lost 2 front players due to that they had no money . and what about pro teams that move down to AMa i dont see u sad lot moan about them
End of the day who cares. Sorry for bursting everyones bubble but who is gonna be watching division 3 7-man anyway. EXL and more importantly Open X-Ball is where all the moves and glory games are gonna be. 7 man is just a side show.

The Teams themselves are in the best position to judge their ability, confidence and potential, nobody else.

I have never heard of a European event having a 'Rookie' division, I thought that was an American format. Definition of 'Novice' :- 'A new or inexperienced person. Would you call a Team that has played possibly 1 or 2 Mill events experienced? Yes, they may be an experienced 5-man team but we all know, and more knowledgeable people than we have said, 7-man is a different 'beast' altogeather.
Oh, and all you 'righteous' people, have a think and tell us that you have never 'played' the scoreboard at an event.
Two sayings come to mind here:
'Let he amongst you, who is without sin, cast the first stone' and
'People in glass houses should not throw stones'.
In other words, give it rest ffs and just enjoy the Event. Teams that want to play Div3, fine, let them play. You want to play Div1 or Div2, worry about your own game and not anybody elses.

Nice to see that you are concerned about the development of tournament paintball!!
You say that teams are best able to judge their abilities the best - B efffing S mate.
They are also able to go for the easier ride so that they maximise the 'Sunday Club' potential. And that is at the cost of genuine rooky teams.
As for 'playing the scoreboard' - thats an entirely different kettle of fish - you are confused I think.
I think that some people have over reacted, yes, but it is not through 'jealousy' its for the principle of fair play.
As for giving it a rest - you try taking some of your own advice. Most of these posts are there in the interest of the genuine novice. You wouldnt be happy with Infamous and Dynasty playing your division for the easy cash would you?
