I guess that made your post kinda miss it's point then, didn't it?
I have been looking at this thread now for a few days, on the subject of Sandbaggers
Can You Answer Me a Question Then MARK TOYE???
If your so against SANDBAGGERS why was your old team THE RUSHERS never actually brave enough to go PRO!!!!!!
In my book thats sandbagging cos you stayed in AM just so you could get placed is IT or IS IT NOT ?????
Why dont you explain that to us.
As for LIZ how can you comment on teams when you haven't played for ages and you haven't actually got anywhere yourself (may its to do with the colour of your hair?????)
I can think of a thousand ways to disembowel your arguments, but the simple fact that Mark did step up to pro level completely makes your post pointless as is...
And consider yourself warned for that unbelievable display of ignorance towards what Liz said. The fact that someone hasn't played in a while does not mean he or she does not know what he or she is talking about.
Mr Marshallmathers, what an ignorant person you are.
For the record Rushers played 1 season as Am in from the start of the Millennium series- NEVER novice. Straight in, testing themselves against their peers.
They then played a further 2 seasons (2001/2) as Am in Millenniums but played the Pro bracket domestically. Never shying away from the responsibility of playing the top divisions at home and therefore not sandbagging.
The team then disbanded having played 3 seasons in Millenniums.
Of the players that were involved with the Rushers in that last year here's what they did;
Dave Hall - played Pro Shockwave
Das Lane - played Pro Shockwave
Colby Keats - Pro Shockwave
Bowen Pratt - Pro Nexus
Nick Truter - Pro Nexus
Mark Toye - Pro Nexus
Dave Copsey - Pro Nexus
Birger 'the bear' Lund - Ugly Ducklings (I feel ashamed for forgetting him - dammnit)
We all stepped up - what have you done fella?
As for the thread - the real point is the bagging in NOVICE and killing the true grass roots.
