Neil, I'm blushing for you, that's sooooooooo wrong, it's brimming with wrongability. Surely you mean Shamrocks and Shenanigans 'boom shalock lock boom' by House of Pain (butch vig remix).

As for the sandbagging question, it's all a down to the teams confidence in their own abilty, some teams don't think they could compete at a higher level even though they may have the skills to do so. I know from previous experience that it only takes one or two doubters in the team to convince the rest that they should stick to playing novice divisions.
I know it's a seemingly big step up for a lot of people but there is so much to gain from playing teams of an equal or greater skill.
I much prefer to play teams that I know will punish me if I give them the chance, it makes you think more and be more aware of your own stregths and weaknesses and how to use/improve them.

Argue the fairness of making baggin' claims or disagree all you want but back off making things too personal. If y'all get out of hand you'll get a "cooling off" ban.
While I'm at it let's keep pm's off the board. They are, after all, pm's for a reason. Besides, that way you can call each other whatever you like as long as you keep it to yourselves. Capishe?

PS--for those of you who read way too many of this forum's threads, yes, I recognize the irony of my position but I obviously know what I'm talkin' about so shut up. :p :D TFP

I think if we concentrate on the fact that Div 3 is supposed to be ROOKIE, not novice, that makes a big difference to who is or isn't sandbagging. How many of those teams would be happy to be classed as a rookie team, i.e. beginners, rather than novice?

oh come on as said sandbagging wil always happen but i do think there are teams out there that really do take the P*ss,This is why we put ourselves in div 2 as we did not want to be slagged off as sandbaggers. This will be our only Millenium tournament unlike some other teams in div 3. shame on you
