you may be laughing but it will be the next natural progression that our SPORT will have to take. in most sports there is a register if yo want to play in matches whether it be golf, athletics, football, rugby, squash, etc all have registers - you may not know that you are registered becasue clubs may do it for you but there are registers

before you get into that, paintball first needs to be recognised as a "SPORT" and then It'll probably need a governing body (just a guess;) )

Once those two minor steps are out of the way register away

it is an open forum and and i would assume that if you have opinions you would say them.

especially with something as important to th game as NGV and sports council recognition

We have lost 12 players to other teams in 12 or so months, you cannot blame these players for wanting to better themselves with sponsors or to bolster an already strong squad. We lost 6 to one team and 6 to another, now both of these teams are gonna be one of the uk's finest in the near future so at the end of the day the uk paintball scene will benefit.

Sour taste it does leave in the mouth but thats life, thats paintball. You will get use to it in the end:D

lol this makes me laugh

althow u might be upset matey its the way things work
Basically what you stating is that when you start playing for a team you must stick with that team till you stop playing.

doesnt really make much sense really does it?

The principles are great behind what your saying but its up to the individual to choose between the the teams and for him/her to take the responsilbity of informing the captain.

Idealy you get a core of players that will stay together and work things through but you cant blame players from moving about from team to another team..

all the best anyway matey

Exactly.

It's entirely up to the individual player to decide what to do with the offer he has been given. If they want to stay then they will of their own free will, the team captain has no right whatsoever to stand in their way.

This is a sport that (generally) people pay to play. If they think they can have more fun/personal improvement/better results playing with another team then they are perfectly within their rights leave and change teams as many times as they like as it's their money they are spending, not the teams.

Unless they walk away just after the team has given them £100's of kit or something, then I don't see how anyone can be upset.

I agree that it's the players responsibility to say to the old team that he's going and possibly why (although I don't think he really has to other than politeness). It's nothing to do with the new team or it's captain.
