Lets do what Niall wants.

Lets put up a voting site and let anyone that want's to be involved in the EPA sign up.

Lets have a vote.

Paul and Steve, you are absolutely right. Many captains have signed up but not the rest of the team.

Get a vote on the road and lets see what happens.

P.S. i don't c why 350 people that attend the mill series can not be taken serious.

Paul - unfortunately that could be the case for only very few of the people registered.

I say this because we do have numerous people - and dare I say - almost whole teams who have registered - thanks people.

I can't do a search right now to see how many "distinct" teams have someone registered - but I will attempt to do it when I get home.

But I think it is still far less than the numbers required to get the attention of the MS.

I believe Niall's call for a vote was not about we get taken seriously - but whether or not the people who started the thing have the right to force themselves on the rest of you - because we weren't elected.

He is in effect 100% correct, but there can be a similarity drawn between us & the MS.

As both he & Karlijn stated the MS board doesn't need to be voted on - it's a company. Unless people are shareholders they can't vote - hey. no problem. But where there is a similarity when Karlijn states - if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a series. If it wasn't for some dumba$$es trying to start an EPA then we wouldn't have one :).

It should be simpler than that... Join forces!!

Just as a suggestion here, but every nation probably has its equivalent of the UKPSF. These are recognised by the government to lobby on behalf of our sport, and if the sh1t ever hits the fan with regards to our sport, it will be those federations that represent our interests.

These federations already exist. You don't need to go through all the hassle of writing a constitution.

Each Nation elects its own representative who looks after the interests of "Tournament Player".

All of these people have their own organisation the EPA which convenes at Euro events and formulates its policy.

Let's get things straight....

Look everyone, just to clear the air I thought I might spell some things out.

1) We are not going away - hell since all this stuff started we have had close to 50 new people register (no Paul they are mainly from a few teams :)).

2) The MS are well within their rights to tell us to "stick-it" - it's their series - we don't have the manpower yet. NO PROBLEM. This doesn't mean I won't stop harassing Niall, Karlijn, Laurent, Magued, Beard and anyone else I can corner (sorry guys :)). It just means that we aren't "official" in their eyes.

3) We are working on forming working agreements with numerous other series/federations - keep your eyes tuned to p8ntballer for news (real soon I hope)

4) To answer my good buddy Nick (who seems to be pissed at me right now - still love ya kid). Yes we will have a website - yes we will have newsletters - yes we will keep people informed - and yes we will be forming sub-committees. But all of this was put on hold to see how the MS was going to handle us. Now that we see how things are going we can start to work.

5) To cut to the chase - keep telling your fellow paintballers to register (let's get over 2000 people) - keep bitching at us (especially Piper, he lives for it) and keep the ideas and offers to help coming. We will be kicking things into gear soon.

How about Goose and Pipes?

It's a long shot, but it just might work...
