I know Mr Piper has been extremely busy with his business, and I for one cannot throw the first stone.

There won't be any repercussions from my side - opions are like a$$holes - evryone has one.

But to answer you questions Nick - no this was never about pride - it was about helping the players but when those said players don't get up off their butts and at least let us know they are there...

It's not like we where charging any money - all the people had to do was go and sign-up with their e-mail so we COULD have that mailing list you go on about.

Sure it's easy to say - maybe they where waiting to see something happen from out side - but get off your high horse for a second and think about the other side of the coin. That would be WHY should the series listen to a group made up of only 25% of their target audience - if the other 75% don't give a damn.

It hard to swing a big stick when the stick is only a twig.

Also read what piper said - we are not going away - just re-evaluating how we can go about things with the MS. One of our options is to grow through the smaller events/series/organizations and then once we have the greater backing of the players then we can negotiate with the MS. Please read what is written - not what you want to read. But without the backing of the players the whole thing is not worth a hill of beans.

But there where preliminary arrangements being made for us to attend meetings but they never got further than that.

People,

All those of you trying to push Goose and Andy to continue, how about you acting as sort of a local representative? Take some paper with you to the next event you'll visit, talk to all the teams and players there (something most of us do anyway), and get them to fill in their details for the EPA.
People are lazy, some of us have to pull the cart, but it'll take more then just Goose and Andy. Help them out.

Also, why the fk should pipes and goose do all the donkeywork, build a site, pay for promo, donate time when the rest of europe sits there with a finger up its arse.

I do think you're right to re-evaluate the situation, the EPA can hardly be decribed as effective so far.

Having a backing by the Millennium board would be a start, as would a source of income me thinks.

In this precise moment the forum would be of great help for the players to discuss their opinion about the 2004 MS.
We are talking in here issues that we should be debating at the EPA forums, so is it possible to give the forum another chance?

Most players NEED to be forced to hear and say what’s going on in their minds, and even so they just don’t give a f@ck.
You can see that in the numbers posted by Goose. Those numbers aint the minority, no way man!! Those are the numbers of people who really cares about the sport.

In my opinion you are reading the all situation from a to far negative point of view.

Im just one of those players that doesn’t play Millenniums regularly (more than 2 tournaments a year), but I play since the beginning of the Series and I sincerely believe that my word counts.

Unfortunately those numbers are the minority - if you where to take the number of teams who show up to play all the local Millenniums, but don't go to others we are probably talking about 2000 active Millennium Players.

Now let me stress - we aren't going away - just thinking about working differently. Keep your ears open.
