One of my guys spoke to Rodney yesterday. He told me all about it and I understand the team are going to make a press release.
Those of you who scream conspiracy should probably read the press release before you make even bigger fools of yourselves.
I understand that the offending player is no longer on the team and that the rest of the team had warned the individual that his gun was cheating several times. One of the team even changed the settings on the offending gun, only for that player to change them back again.
You seem to be missing a couple of other points too
Entourage have made no complaint against the NPPL for missing out on a spot realistically valued at $100k
Redz Hurricanes made no objection to thier DQ either.
Nor did Chop Shop
Nor did Icemen.
So if the offending players/teams have no complaint of bias or conspiracy, how can a bunch of people who were not there and/or were not involved possibly have an issue with it?
Entourage did not need to earn a single point at the stage they were DQ'ed. They were in! What happened after that is down to them.
As for the Tadao guy. He will look a little silly for writing that mail pretty soon. As I for one know the information he posted to be untrue.
As for the event. I didagree with Egi. I was in Orlando and while it wasd an OK event, I fail to see how it could possibly be considered a better event than San Diego. Personal opinions aside, there were more vendors, a batter atmostphere, live bands, packed grandstands, and every vendor and team I spoke to, which is a lot, were very positive and can't wait to support the NPPL next year. I can't comment on reffing, as I didn't see much of it, but what I saw looked good, although all the games I did see were on the NPPL field.
