Hmmmm....

"7 man is where its at is total bull ****."

Hmmm. I feel that that statement isn't strictly true. I did say at the moment 7 man is where its at. the key phrase here is at the moment. You don't hear of PSP events being fully sold out 3-4 weeks prior to start do you?
And yes fair enough all my assumptions are based upon articles read in PGI and on here and no i haven't been able to get over that side of the pond. If PSP events are now better than NPPL i have to say i've not seen many people posting up and saying that. However that could be i'm just not looking hard enough.

However based upon full attendances, a fevered push by pro teams to make the 7 man pro bracket i stand by my statement that AT THE MOMENT 7 man is where its at.

If the PSP suddenly get the X ball league fully televised and heavily bankrolled then i'm sure the focus will shift back.

Anyway what do the rest of you think?

Or whudda bout this

Full auto is tha only way to stop gun cheats.
What Steve is offering is full auto as long as you keep your fingers moving. Just no 'hold the trigger down' FA...

If at any point anyone does hold the trigger that should stop the gun immediately. That is easier to implement to stop the gun, than allowing modes and giving a time after the last pull, by which they should stop shooting...

I'll rephrase then - uncapped FA. For tha same reasons I done give before massah.

No problemo.

FA won't every make it for tha same reasons I done give before massah.

But what was suggested (basically Manike's idea, right M?) might be adoptable and would be substantially enforceable.

...Really? How?
1. By a miracle device to be brought forth out of the Manike Labs that will count the ROF and FPS on the sly, during the game

2. By refs watching to make sure triggers are being activated and no shots are being discharged after trigger release

3. By reasonable, strict penalties that will make cheating not worth the risk

And, yeah, I know that there will always be new tricks to fool the testers.

I am aware of ManikeLabs Inc. (TM) and tha propsed gizmo of which you speak...afaik that only dealt with FPS, but if it can do BPS too then I see how that could make your suggestion possible.

However, I don't see how it could do bps effectively, but then I'm not a techcygimpnerd, so I am sure one of tha bespecatcled ones will inform me it's possible...
