Just like to point out thats not what happened i was involved in this DISCUSSION so know what happened. people should get their facts straight before posting FACTS

When a team turns up and is asked to chrono if they have a hot gun the penalty is to play the game without a marker if you are asked after the game (and found to be hot) you would recieve penalty points.(and the other team swing bonus points)
I do understand when all ask but there is time to alter the marker but that would make the rule useless, The time element is nothing to do with this rule.

Ecstacy did not no this rule and that is the only reason i was called to the field.
And I must say lads it was great to see you lot up here in the muddy north and i hope you make the trip again soon.

we didnt know that rule same as ecstacy as we had same problem,
but some of the crono's players were using to check markers before going onto fields read different from hand held crono's on field.
As for bad calls like others said no one's perfect ,
over all though was good .

twink it's only one person (My2pworth) one person don't make a team mate

i enjoyed Elsham mud and all ,ok the mud bit was a pain in the rear but hey see loads of slips and trips which made the day more enjoyable .

as for the netting part it was a bit bad in some places

The only reason I reacted somewhat to My2pworth first post is because he mainly called the marshals who where working in horrible conditions all day and did not deserve that sort of slaging.
Some of his points have solid reasons behind them but if he had the bottle to put his name to his comments he would have my respect and i would have replyed to his points one by one.

This year we have the 15 marshals doing the entire series and as such we should enjoy consistent good marshaling.

Ask any tourney Organiser or ultimate and they will tell you Good marshals mean good tourneys.

As for some of his other points I AGREE but come on my2pworth use your name.

So there were a few marshals' decisions that not all and sundry agreed with, that happens at every tourney, it's what gives us something to moan about at the pub/Little Chef/whatever afterwards. Marshals are only human (well, some of them, I have my doubts though ) and aren't omniscient, so mistakes can happen, there's no need to assign some dark motive.
As for the netting, I'd agree that it was a bit dodgy in places: I got hit just under my eye whilst watching field 1 & it didn't half cause the old sphincter to spasm.
I'm glad that Bully's going to look at making sure the breakouts are standardised on all fields, but really we should be used to that by now - I don't think I've ever been to a tourney, even Millenium events, where there hasn't been some variation.
All in all in though, it was a great tourney and I had immense fun watching both my squads get mud into places you really don't want it to go.

guys dont forget were we came from, the fkin woods, muds twigs and all the **** you can muster, superair is the rolls royce so we can all fire our shiney toys at each other, i spoke to steve on monday re the site no criticism but praise for having the bollox to carry on running such a event, your all lucky he's not charging you for improving your complextions, totally agree with russ, the marshals that weekend were fkin hero's ive marshaled in those conditions and its ****. standing round in the pissing down rain in the freezing cold (oh realy glamourous) these marshals deserve a huge pat on the back, our team has no complaints, and any such moans should be done on the field before you sign the score sheet, after that its just moaning internet crap. why should russ and the marshals have to justify themselves after a event, you were all there on the day, these people dont bite, and bully is so laid back he would fall over if he did not have the forward ballast (no offence steve) and he will listern.

First of all who are u my 2 p whatever? who do you play for then??

Second we judged feild 4 and i think i talk for every one that plays and on the unfortunatly has to judge torneys every so often,when i say that if your playing you dont want a judge jumping all over you to check you every time some one says check him, i think all the kellys and the other judges all done there crap job how they would like to have been judged thereselves i know thats how i liked being judged. if i`m wrong people correct me
