a slight problem with a blanket ban, there are uk laws that state that you cannot ban a person from participating in a sport of their choice. We do however have the right to refuse entry to the tourney's if it is thought they are a hazard to others...

be warned, if you are caught you won't be playing in any tourneys...

ok you mention about taking the serial number og the gun!

IE as if it is a shot gun or a rifle! as we can keep track of thoughs!

BUT one of the biggest draw backs of this is, Paintball guns get upgraded so much and so easily!!!!

how can u keep track of a gun if someone upgrades it then sell the older parts of the gun to different people!

if u think of it every part of the gun can be split up so how can we say that this isnt someones gun if they have bought one part from someone else???

also if you select something like the main body of the gun to be the part that you keep track of, even that can be changed!

what you think?

How about, part of registering at a tourney is to hand in a current photo of your marker/s listing all major parts, serial number and distinguishing marks. as well as team and player name. That way if a marker goes walkies and any dispute is had on-site this will clear it up, as the gun will have a photo and be registered to the correct player. spot checks could be carried out on fields or at the chrono station. As the marker changes a new photo is required.

Just another idea guys, don't flame too bad

cost of implementation is too great again unfortunately.

Let's not get too carried away, this is after all a fairly irregular occurence. The VAST majority of people at tournaments are fine upstanding folk.

Best thing to happen will be catch whoever it is in the act. Then we can sever his/her limbs from their body and bury the parts in a shallow grave :) or melt them down in a tub of sulphuric acid or a burn them up on a nice big bonfire (need to smash the teeth out first and cut the fingers and toes off too, probably best scoop the eyes out while at it just to be on the safe side...)

There has been stuff nicked at almost every event last year.

Stick someone into the car park, walking around. Give them a shot gun, and shoot the twat.

Or at least shove a old boomstick up their arse, and then call the police........"never say anything gov. he must have fallen on it."
