Perhaps the NE Hurricanes may step forward to be team 10 and represent the NE sector of the US which is currently unfilled. They did play X-Ball in 2003 and have recently received the nod from Redz.

I would imagine that Dynasty would join the Western Conference and Strange out of Florida would join the Eastern conference. Strange could represent the north east if the NXL guys wanted a franchise out of there, after all the Miami Effect guys are all from the Colorado area and play as 'Miami' purely for the geographical equalisation of the league.

The Dynasty guys say over and over that they just want to play paintball as much as possible so I don't expect they would have accepted any deal that would have kept them from being free to play wherever they want. And they definitely had a choice.

The last I heard was that they plan to play 16 events this year. That would be (as I understand it) all 5 PSPs (Division 1 X Ball), all 5 NPPL S7s and all 6 Millenniums. Then there will be clinics in exotic and interesting places in the world.

The world is their oyster right now.

NE = New England, as in the New England Hurricances.

NE states are:

CT, MA, NH, VT, ME, RH

... figured I would list them since we are apparently geographically challenged.

You would be correct if I suggested the North East as the North East Corridor is anything north of DC and east of Harrisburg, PA. Unfortunately Baltimore and Philadelphia do not reside in one of the aforementioned 6 "NE" states.

In the future I shall make sure to spell out all my acronyms.

All the more reason for SP to totally sponsor them, since they are then very likely to make it a triple win instead of a double....

Why share the glory of having a winning team using your products and thanking those products for the victories ?

Anytime Nick. You'd be surprised how many good teams from New England there are that continually make their presence in the tournament circuits.

The current assumption is that Dynasty will only use Shockers and stick with JT for clothing. I do wonder how Yosh is going to keep his Dye connections playing for a JT team.

Does seem odd for Dynasty to drop their WDP sponsorship after all this time, after all the WDP "Triple Crown Champions" ads, and so close to the release of the Dynasty edition A4, maybe this is much ado about nothing. On the other hand, maybe Dynasty are a bunch of sellouts and went to where the money was. If it's the latter, then score another territory conquered... heil Smart Parts.
