A)Stop, ok so we go to Toulouse make the finals, then everyone can say we only made it because of are easy draw! Jeeez pete has already said we are guaranteed 2 go through, so what's the point in playing if we do bad were crap if we do good we had it easy so you see my point. Is there even any point in us playing the event & on the contrary if Nexus go through there the best because of there draw but if they don't it was because they got stitched!

Whatever dude, believe whatever you wanna believe...I used Tigers and Shockwave as examples of morning and afternoon draws and tha differentials between em - it could been Joy and Ugly Dux, but seeing as tha Brits are the most vocal on here I chose two Brit teams - no conspiracy, no agenda, no nothing.

That's the truth, period.

Coming up with a system

Ok can i ask a few questions/ state a few points.

Being impartial (not playing Toulouse no hidden agenda etc)
i make the following points.
When was the closing date for entry?
What is the final number of teams?

Bear in mind that a system has to work and rank what 130+ teams? in a short sapce of time. I agree with Pete in that playing 6 pros instead of 5 is a bum deal and yes Shockwave have well and truly got a real tough draw. However drawing on the old system once you get say 15+ pro why don't you seed them against themselves PRO vs PRO and the rest of the teams follow the existing model.

To be fair though this situation was bound to be highlighted with the amount of quality in the pro league this time.
You think this is bad wait until campaign! If 5+ NXL teams turn up (a real possibility) plus nexus, RL, The ducks, shockwave, etc it will be even worse than this!

Oh by the way i have to say that the posts from Pete and TJ did look to be a dig at the Tigers, Joy and the Tontons and i can see why Woz got emotional. Sometimes its not whats said but the way you read it however it was meant. I would not for one second say thats what they meant to do but thats how it looked to the outside world. (well me anyway)

Warren, don't you get it? That IS the whole point - it's not about getting a bad draw, its about it being unbalanced in the first place.

this has nothing to do with the tigers and everything to do with the system, so please put your toys back in your pram.

Its just that my first impression on reading did look like a dig. I understand now thats not what you meant.
Obviously Woz is still feeling a "little emotional" at the moment and when he calms down i'm sure he'll see it the same as anyone else. I have to say that if i thought you were taking a dig at my team i'd go bright red and get steam out the ears to.... as would Nick or Pete or anyone else who feels total loyalty to a team. Its part and parcel of being a team member.

Just to set the record straight, I am not going to compromise the good relations we now have between the Tigers and Nexus for the sake of a cheap shot.

I was trying, obviously not very successfully, to highlight the following :- The Tigers, Ton Tons and Joy had as much design in getting them into those groups as there was in getting teams into that morning session, basically none.
They were merely the beneficiaries of a flawed system as much as we were the victims to the same system, no design whatsoever, merely circumstance.
My point was also this, if a system is gonna throw up anomalous groupings like these, and promoters' teams are all in the best half of the draw, then u gotta make damn sure of the integrity of the system or rather program that determined that draw.
The system had no integrity and was deeply flawed with the problems I have outlined.
If I had wanted to have a pop at the Tigers, there would be no ambiguity in what I wrote, believe me.

But alas, I now get on really well with the guys I talk to on that team and i sincerely wish them all the best in Toulouse, so for the bullshltters, I am sorry to disappoint ya, all is kool between us.
I have even spoke to Matty Shmidtt today and we are also kool, so it looks Kool all around to me
If anybody read any of my posts as digging the Tigers out, then I apologise, it was in no way meant as such in any form.
