Haha, well yeah if you go on eBay you'll find a box for £25... Bare in mind DF have around 32 centres in total and they send on average 120 boxes to a centre per week. They also have their own formula for paintballs which have delta force printed on them, which come packed in delta force boxes, which are the worst quality paintball I have ever come across. So yeah, about £5 a box :)
I don't want to seem pedantic, but as someone who supplies these guys fairly regularly for their Canadian operations, the 5 or 10 quid a box guesses on here are pure fantasy, and I'm not even getting into shipping, brokerage and duty, which all add significant cost. They have their own printed box. They do not have their own formula. They do buy, just in the UK, a truck of paint per week, which is around 24 skids. This makes them the single largest end-use consumer of paintballs in the World. This gets them a couple of bucks per box advantage over other fields, and that's about it. If I could get paint at a fiver per box, I would be back in the UK running fields, or I would just call Delta Force for a job.
I don't think there is a field on the globe thats buying paint off Ebay

I cant see them rolling out walkons as a regular thing... sounds to much like wasted earning potential.

I wouldn't recommend going to DF Coventry at present... Even for the walk on days, they have no staff!
haha, standard that. I remember when our site had horrible staffing problems over summer for a while. Got far too depressing turning up to see 350 player packed into a tiny base camp with half the staff list made up of trial days.

delta force Cov have just got some new marshals (me being one of them) so we're well staffed now and have just turned over the biggest spend per head at the weekend so we're on the rise. We did our first walk on, on Sunday and only a few people showed but we are well prepared now and are running really smooth under our new management so i would highly recommend it! Previously, i know it had dropped in standards, but now its back up to scratch i'd say. :)

I was looking at attending this event, I even phoned the call center to speak to someone who knew details, but didn't really get any answers. At the point when he said I'd be paying rental rates for extra paint I gave up, even if he was wrong he had to go away and ask someone else each time and there is only so many times you want to be put on hold for possibly wrong information.

Please next time can there be a proper post or something about basics like costs, fps, firing modes, ROF etc, whether it's your FB page or here if the boss will pay the fees to advertise!

You say "walk-on", walk-on as in you can come with your own gear and what not? On another note, do Delta Force provide HPA fills? :)
