[PEACHIE]

three things that need improving IMHO

1. Car parking needs better marshalling to avoid people being blocked in.(space allowing)

2. The severe field was all stitched incorrectly meaning it kept deflating all day. Marshall's have it hard enough without having to re-inflate bunkers all day. We're marshalling 5 man next month and certainly would not want to marshall on that field.

3. If all fields finish morning session early then start afternoon session early.

These are only minor niggles though as the tourney was well run.

mad props to dave liz and jiggy etc for bustin their balls off to get a truly standard tournament.... respec

fields are gettin more and more fun to play... though a lil more height on some wouldnt go amiss.....

maybe we can win more than 2 sometime

Thoroughly enjoyed the day - managed a couple of good results (bizarrely against the 'better' teams - ringers-r-us bitchslapping excluded ).

With regards the field design... who's job is that? Just interested to know the thinking behind the Tomahawk field with the laydown X. Not having a go as obviously every one had to play it the same but why all the low central bunkers and why not move the X out from the tape and allow play behind it? As i say, not a dig, just interested to know the thinking behind it.

Also, on a side note, maybe needs to be another topic but would anyone be prepared to explain their game plan for the XBall field with the centre complex... Just wondering what you thought of it, how you approached it, how you played it, etc.

Thanks to the organisers for a very slick and well organised day and thanks to all the teams in Div2;sorry we were so rubbish and couldnt give you guys a better game! Also thanks to the marshalls on fields 2 and 3 who were extremely fair and decisive. Sadly field 1 didnt match this standard in my opinion were not up to the job.
Anyway,see you all at the next one!

just like to say thanks to dave liz jiggy and all the marshalls and everyone else that makes this event possible it gets better every time even if we dont and jolt look forward to a rematch except next time we'll beat you in under 2 minutes
