Some of the stories I've been told on cheating in the old woodland days are truly epic in proportion. They went to some great lengths back in the day.

....If someone was able to dig up information, about how fast it is actually humanly possible to move your finger or hand.

Because not a single guy in our team is able to average over 18 balls per second, measured over 5 seconds (most average 12-14 shots).

I have seen guys shoot so fast at events, that it defied belief, and have heard people boast about ROF above 20 online and in magazines......... I just don't believe it to be possible !

Would be cool for everyone to know what is in fact humanly possible, so that events could have technology in place to count shots, and have suspect guns checked out really thouroughly !

I know for a FACT that back in the good old woodland days, one of the biggest Pro teams in the US tinkered with velcity during games - expecially when playing the palmettos in Orlando.

The trick was to go on-field with a gun chronoed in at 290, carry a pot of really hard paint, and if you couldn't get a guy in the palmettos, you jacked up velocity to 380, put in the tough paint, shot holes through the palmettos, and eliminated the guy.

I stands to reason those same people would also be playing around with cheat modes now when it is easier (electropneumatic guns) !

P.S. - Just to make sure everyone understands..... I am NOT talking about the AAs here !
on this note, im going to add my thoughts or knowledge.:)

i know that at least 3 guys on storm have done 28 bps on an xmag, no cheat boards or anything, john sosta is one of them:)

yep this is true, i am another!

cant sustain it for long tho! average ROF with an X-mag is about 18bps but you dont need that all game anyhows! the number of players i see sending a hopper full of paint up the field at nothing is amazin.

i dont thin the number of balls per second is that much of an issue compaired to the ramping of velocity cheats, now this is where it becomes downright dangerous! and actually illegal because of the 12footpound law for firearms. i think any gun that can electronically ramp the velocity should be 'tourney set' or have this option removed. i dont care if someone shoots at me at 24bps 299fps, but i do if they shot me at 10bps 350fps!!!!

there we go paul:)

as you say, there should definetly be a block for changing the dwell and things, for an impy all you need is a small allen key to change it on field, and if you have the pressures from the air system set high, one switch of the dwell can up it 50fps:eek:
i read an article somewhere, it rates the damage to your body at different speeds, 350fps was said to cause bad bleeding.

i also read an article like that and after 350fps the damage increases massively by very small increments! if i remember correctly 400fps is said to cause massive sub-muscular haemmoraging [spell?]
