as a colleague of one of the french players,(dorian golec(something like that)) he was talking about a game against Nexus(i am english ok) i was talking about the bad marshalling, and one story he told me was that a frenchie got hit, given out, went to stand up and a nexus guy mugged him or bunkered him(what the diff?)and the frenchie retaliated so both where out. i guess if the nexus guy had restrained himself and not done an out player then he would have been in the game.
but i have to say buy the amount of complaints, there must have been a big problem at camp, but nice weather for it hey.

Oh My, let's go thru this, now I think we can safely assume the Nexus player would have 100% believed the French player to be still alive, that much is obvious, I mean, what's the point in bunkering a dead player?
It’s pointless and is dangerous in terms of getting eliminated from other players.

That said, after the DEAD French player is shot by mistake, he as you said, spins and shoots the Nexus player, and both are pulled from the game??????

You have already implied the judge was on hand so he must have known the French player was already out and must have realised the Nexus player was unfairly eliminated.
The proper adjudication should have been, from your account, the Nexus player should have been wiped down and the French team 'one for oned' for a dead player shooting.
Now does your French pal wanna explain why the judge did not do that ?
I could have a facking guess why not !!!!!
Think about it !!!!!!!!
And to make matters worse, this game cost us a place in the finals !!!!


PS Does anybody know what French teams these judges play for?

ok ok, only passing on a frenchie version, but yes your right, the ref new him to be out then i agree, alas another error(cheat). as i have never been to a tourny, i hope this kind of thing doesnt happen in the uk, or will it start now that a presedent has been set?

I agree with pretty much everything that has been said so far; in our last game against Dorian Golak, there were no less than three different incidents that happened. All three we got screwed over on.. appalling... I don't have a real problem with Dorian Golak as they played the game in the manner they felt appropriate but the judges are there to make the decisions and they just failed over and over again.

The guys from WGP (Sonny and Kenny) guested for Nexus to make the event a fun affair, yes, we wanted to win but we also wanted to show the yanks a good time, I think they are taking a long trip home with a very bitter taste in their mouths. This was their first taste of Euro ball, not a good advert !

After we had been knocked out, we wanted to watch the finals as it was turning into a comedy show, after we watched the first Dynasty game it was so obvious that the non - French teams were well up against it.
I saw a judge pull a towel from his pocket and wipe hits from a French players pack, the player then dived over the snake, lost his loader and finished the last Dynasty player without a loader and when Dynasty complained about the loader being left behind nothing was done (In the rules you cannot leave your loader behind !) This game gave Dynasty the fire they needed and left no decision down to a judges 50 / 50 choice, they just smashed everyone to pieces.. Respect guys.

I think all the Brit's out there did themselves proud. I’m pi$$ed we didn't do better but it was a joke so we will have to be happy with 5th.

I'd like to say until next year... but I don't think that's going to happen !

Not that i defend the french marshalls but about the hopper they did a correct call

"27.5 Players that separate from any piece of equipment or clothing that they brought
onto the game field by more than 5 feet or the length of the bunker they are in,
which ever is the furthest, except squeegies, rags, hoppers or pods used in holding
paintballs will be immediately eliminated."

Hmmm here is some more (AM A perspective)


We rolled teams in 30/40 seconds including hanging the flag. The longest game we played took two and a half minutes.

In one game my middle player got a hit on a pod in his podpack. (no chance to feel that!!) After we won the game the marshalls checked us and found the guy with the hit. Then the funneh happened!!! THEY CALLED A FECKIN 1-4-1 AFTER THE DAMN GAME WAS OVER!! Citing that he was playing on!

First: its an obvious marshalling mistake not noticing the hit while the game was on.

Second: Changing the score after the game is over, penalizing a the player for the marshalls mistake is super bad.

at the end it doesnt matter at all since we rolled them

..but then!

Little old "moi" crawled the snake on the Draxxus field and what do ya know I had a marshall tip-toeing after every damn milimeter I had advanced. For gossake nex time stick a damn red arrow on my head with a blinking light on it!!! Talk about giving away the suprise!!

BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER!

There were a guy on the other side of the small obstacle inside the snake. So I shot his barrel (the ref was standing a meter away conviently letting everyone know where I am) and yell at the ref to check him. He must have been watching another chanel because he simply stood there some more doing nothing. Fortunately my backguy goggled him about two times immediately and they had to pull him.

There were at least 4 ocassions where you saw a guy asking for a check on a player and the ref didnt do **** except standing there.

Then the semi finals came..

In our first match the middle insert guy got a hit in his neck and asked a check on himself. The ref came and pulled him and called a 1-4-1 FOR PLAYING ON! Now last time I checked the neck is NOT a self check zone. Then he proceeded and pulled me at the start of a mugging run in "transit" to deliver some love to our French friends..

For crying out loud if that is not a damn bias then nothing is...

After that we doesnt gave **** for the whole thing anymore...


Dynasty were also screwed in their game against Morfalous. The ref simply wiped the hit from his pod in his backpack. They would have gotten away with the thing but mad props for Ledz as he had the guts to go there and tell Squires what happened!!!!! Respect for that Mr Pie Demon!!!


...oh and one more thing!! Booze+WDP's Matt+Fine ass hoes in the Hustler club=Great great laughs!!

Just out of curiosity,were,nt the judges at portugal(home of the worst tourney ever ) mainly french?and speaking to english teams(backlash,outkasts,method etc),a lot of english teams got f"£*!d there as well!Including us(UK JAGS),we had 1 player pulled from 3 games for the same thing(kneeling on paint!!)so with all the slagging they got(well said magued!) was it no big surprise that the french in all their wisdom thought" f*!$ you guys!wait till you come to camp,there you will see some real **** reffing!"..........If we keep slagging the french(with good reason) are we going to tolouse with the idea that we are just going to get rear ended by the reffs again as its a freekin expensive way to find out how **** they can be or is it just a small case of french ref paranoia creeping in...........Brian....top gun for Red Heat..........p.s thanks to the *******s whole stole dunny,s planet bag with ir3/air in plus wallet....w*!$*!
