They legitimized the war recently and didnt offer any any condemnation when it all began..Think it had anything to do with public opinion??Funny enough,its the Canadien PM im not to keen on at the moment..Is there any difference between Canandien and French cuz I sure do like Toronto..But anyway,if we sold the war to you Euros as humanitarian instead of the direct threat theory,yall woulda came for the ride and you know it..
Have they decided on what the reasons for going to war were yet?
Was it because of Saddams supposed stockpiles of WMD's which they cannot find?
Or to stop terrorism even though there has been quite a few since the end of the war?
Or is it to free a repressed people even though the Iraqis are violently demonstating on the streets about the american take over?

Ive admitted ive felt duped by the numbers the government threw out..But it still doesnt explain why scientists couldnt be interviewed privately or full and acurate reports werent given if they did DESTROY what they had pre 91..And Saddam played a dangerous game and lost..Kicking inspectors out never really looks good when your trying to disarm and only letting them back in when pressure is shoved down your throat..
I dont think anyone thought terrorism would stop after the war of Iraq was over..But the US troops in Saudi Arabia are leaving,no longer having to protect them from an Iraqi invasion taking away one of the main points of Osamas crusade about infidels in the holy land..And terrorism wont stop till radical clerics with full support from thier governmnets are put out of business..To be able to
1)commit suicide
2)kill women and children
3)condone mass murder
and still think Gods waiting for you to accept you for your deeds takes alot of work and is only done with full support by radical clerics who tell them its ok..Go read about Wahabiis,and what they think Islam means..

No..That was 1 point to refute what you said about terrorism..Al Qaeda's first main purpose was to drive American military presence from Saudi Arabia,Iraq,and last the Palestinian people..Are you saying when the military is gone that our countries wont have to worry about fanatical terrorists anymore??Like I said..Go look up Wahabii..Read whats its all about..This is the state sponsored religion of Saudi Arabia..Starting to see the problem yet??

U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz is now saying that though. In an interview with Vanity fair he is quoted saying that the main reason was not the WMD's but to stabilize the middle east by removing most of the 5000 US troops from saudi.
It also must be a little embarrasing for the US government when over 2000 tons of chemical and biological matter was unearthed in Maryland with absolutly no documentation to go with it. Maybe they will claim that in a clever ploy Saddam managed to move all of his chemical and biological stockpiles to the US and thats why there isnt any evidence of it in Iraq.

crom-this is one of the scariest things ive heard in a long time..This is from a good book I just read regarding Saudi history..

As I said earlier,i see no difference between funding Al Qaeda,paying $40 million which Saddam did to encourage suicide bombings,or state governments that allow hate to be be preached from thier soil to ensure thier own survival..As long as GW stays consistent and pushes fro peace in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict,keeps up the pressure on Iran and Syria,and tries to sucessfully develop Democracy in Iraq,then he alright by me...

And thats a very good reason..Ill be the first to admit we were all sold on the WMD's..But theres a much bigger picture here and one that alot of you are missing..
This has been a problem for years and one that seriously needs to be addressed..As they unearth them there igniting..Scary stuff indeed..
